Thank you, but please don’t. Remember the days, when 10+ people stand in the same cave waiting for the named NPC to spawn, all of them spamming tab+r (or whatever was their keybind on an instant skill) or an aoe? After waiting the 10-15 minutes or more 4 times and being unlucky, you start to feel hope that your time is approaching, but then 3-4 other people arrive… Don’t make simple quests a frustrating competition again. Don’t make people find the most remote areas to level in (though revisiting them would be great). In my opinion it is more in the MMO spirit what we have now. And I personally really like the phenomenon that emerged with Beledar’s spawn. Anyone who finds it or has the rep to see, shares a pin, we go there and wait a few minutes without tagging it. Horde and Alliance both just stand there giving buffs, to give everyone a chance, to share. Everyone wins. Thanks to the the other people who waited and didn’t drop their nuke on the poor guy the moment it spawned. If Blizz didn’t give a grace period, the people give it to each other. Given that it is possible in the game. Now it is, back then it wasn’t.
Hm let’s see:
In the old days of gray mobs I remember being frustrated several times by the system, and the fact that others were blocked from also killing “my” mobs didn’t bring me anything.
With the new system my quests have often been made faster and easier while I never got any downside from others benefiting.
So the new system only has advantages. Please don’t listen to OP Bliz.
Thank you Classic alt with 1 post. Your opinion sure is appreciated here.
This smell like a troll post so my suggestion is to log in and do something or beat it.
non shared npcs could get annoying on some servers in busy places. But i liked non shared nodes on pvp servers. It actually gave people actual resources to fight eachother over
No thanks,
I really don’t need druids swooping in to steal your nodes because you’re fighting the mob guarding it.
Well it worked with pvp servers , but most likely not in warmode and its not nice in pve either. You might not have that issue of someone swooping in now. But we do have the similair problem of nodes dissappearing because people mined it a little while before . So its really not that different now with how you miss nodes
That’s because those games can be completed from beginning to end in a matter of hour or 2 tops. It can’t compare to a game with 40+ hours of gameplay, or even worse with MMOs that pretty much have infinite hour gameplay to complete.
On a PvP server I’d have 0 issue with it, since I can just throw my sword at the druid and “solve” his behavior. But on a PvE server…
And yes, I loathe those disappearing nodes.
well the only thing i miss was the super hard elite group quests.
who remembers the elite oger caves in northeast loch modan before cata.
that was really a nice challenge.
