Bring back Titanforging

Lol, do you know what “marone” means in italian?

I think it would be good even how it was before the remove. It always gave a feeling of excitement. You saw a good trinket in world quest, even as a high ilvl player you would still head out and do it because who knows? Or doing m+0s as a high ilvl and not feeling how much of a waste of time it is. Imo the same elitists hated titanforging who hating on LFR, they just want to feel superior to others in a videogame which is ridiculous.

lol did you watch the sopranos?

Marone

Italian pronunciation (southern dialect/Neapolitan) of the word “Madonna”, literally referring to the Virgin Mary (the mother of Christ). Equivalent would be “Holy Smokes”… A phrase to represent surprise, amazement, or down right shock. Could be used in many contexts.

In that case the correct word is “Maronna” (i’m from Napoli myself)
The word you used “marone” means ball (as in the part of male reproductive organ)

Tony Soprano wouldnt lie to me but I bet you would.

There was a time when i didn’t raid or did any mythic+. But yeah, doing world quest or any boss/rare that dropped decent gear piece was what i did. But having that slim chance to gat a high item level was a reason to keep going.
I wasn’t able to fully gear myself with titanforging, but in the end it was a nice feeling to have been lucky and have a piece or two high valued gear parts.

I agree that one should work for the gear but letting everyone have a chance for some good loot was a nice thing to have.

Tbh I’d prefer reforging. Whilst getting a titanforge is awesome, doing stuff over and over in case it might TF not so much. I would rather be able to have a ceiling for X content and change my secondary stats about.

No thanks, i’d rather not have such a rng slotmachine. Maybe there was a way to the gear upgraded to the same ilvl as titanforged wich then should not be that hard/pricy to do

Horrible system glad its gone. The thread just shows one more thing why its bad, eveyone has its own idea how it should be implemented=awful system.

Not a single dev from blizz loved the system being in an mmo.And cant see to remember any mmos endorsing the system, cause its just awful. It makes you feel awful about your gear.

Yes. If they ever bring back TF for some reason (I hope they don’t really), I’d like it to be in the same form as sockets in SL. Your gear can proc socket, but you can also buy it.

Also, it needs to be limited to a max of +10 and limited in gear pieces that can TF.

This exact argument can be used on just normal loot.

A player could spend weeks just trying to get one upgrade, meanwhile there will be those who lucks out and get most of their upgrades in their first run.

Except they are doing the same content on the same difficulty.
Let’s not reward people in the same way as someone who puts more effort into it.

If i do HC or Mythic raid, i expect to have better gear than someone who just plays LFR and got lucky.

Would work fine to have the limit being the current ilvl cap, if the cost of upgrading is exponetial. Which would mean that it would be easier to upgrade to say a heroic piece into the same ilvl as mythic, than it would be for a normal piece.

It would still give players the option to buff a BIS piece if they where to only get it from a lower difficulty.

Yet again, someone could put a lot more effort into it than someone else for the exact same content. And still come out empty handed.

Still not the same. Both of those players are doing HC or Mythic. One get loots, one gets it later.

Don’t compare 2 HC or mythic raiders getting or not getting loot to someone who only does LFR and gets lucky

what is this mindset even
People who put more time and effort into the game should be always more rewarded with better rewards in every aspect of the game.

In a game of dice, there is always the chance of it being never.

Yeah, so u are trolling.
You really shouldn’t compare luck in LFR to HC or Mythic raiding in a guild.

This entire discussion boils down to depriving players of multiple means of progression. Which isn’t exactly encouraging to see in what is suppose to be a cooperative game.

I’ve yet to see a mythic raider saying “oh yeah I miss TF”

???
What is hard to understand from this:
If u put barely any effort into the game, u shouldn’t have similar gear or whatever reward there is as someone who does put time and effort into it.

If you want better gear, work for it, get in a guild and eventually you will get your gear.
This is basically “ahh, im lazy, i just want luck to be on my side”
