Bring back Titanforging

People feeling like they have to run difficulties they are overqualified for is not a good thing.

I don’t like the idea of " Warforgin - Titanforging ".

Just take back the Valor upgrading system that way its not as Random and you can choose what piece to upgrade.

There would be no reason to run lower difficulties if +10il cap is in place :stuck_out_tongue:

Except if it’s the most relevant difficulty for that person? No need to ruin normal difficulty for players who play at that difficulty by shoving a bunch of Heroic and Mythic raiders in their groups to 123 blast through it and provide nothing engaging for any player involved. Similarly, no need to waste time by forcing those higher difficulty players to spend several hours running through every difficulty. The whole system sucks and it was removed for a reason.

Why would they run lower difficulty if they can’t get upgrade ?

I liked titanforging. It kept old content somewhat important.

Exactly. Players shouldn’t want to run a lower difficulty than what they play at. They should want to run a difficulty they play at.

Why should a Premier League footballer want to play in Conference North? Why would a Hollywood actor want to participate in local budget try outs? Why would Lewis Hamilton want to go back to driving Go Karts against amateurs?

It’s OK to be done. The treadmill can have an end every week.

Because HC reward 13ilvl more ,and TF is capped at 10ilvl :man_shrugging:t2:

What  ?
If you are HC raider there is no reason to run normal beside tmogs.
But if you are HC raider those wf/tf that will occur over weeks can help many guilds to switch to Mythic
Also Mythic raiders that struggles with progression will have bit easier time every week with those sporadic wf/tf

There was one argument that I really liked in one of these type of threads and it went something like this

You go to McDonald’s to buy a BigMac, you buy it and are happy.
The guy behind you buys a BigMac, but it McForges into BigMac meal.

Both bought the same burger but the other guy got a lot more out of the deal.
Its not fun to be the guy with just the regular burger.

Both of you had the same chance to get something extra. If you want a bigmac meal then buy that.

And that’s good. Players should want to play at the level appropriate for them, not easier difficulties because it’s rewarding.

That’s a problem with the gear gap between difficulties being too large, not a good thing about TF.

Not to mention there are plenty of other ways to close the gap over time - weekly cache, for example.

Yeah ,because before it could proc +50ilvl with +10ilvl cap that would not be the case

Just going to quote my first comment in this thread instead.

Except you can’t

McForging is random, out of your control. Up to the RNG burger gods

Titanforging was the worst.
You could spend as much time and effort as u wanted, random Bob who logged in for 1 hour jumped into LFR and got a better item than you in a HC or Mythic raid.
Worst thing ever.
Less luck, more effort is the way.
