They would get +10 on mythic gear they got clearing first 8/12 for example
Some would get and some wouldn’t. So if you’re medicore and lucky you can progress further than someone who’s a tiny bit better but unlucky
Lazy people try to minimize the time/effort spend for their rewards, your chance to get titanforge is higher the more time/effort spent, usually people who do more stuff, have better gear. That’s how it is not, that’s how it’s been with titanforge.

Seriously do you understand that time is linear? like titanforge existed in the past and we had a chance to observe it in game.

No LFR Karen was going around doing more dps than heroic/mythic raiders, people in LFR did not have better(or similar gear) than mythic raiders. You are the one who’s not making any sense.

Except for the fact that when a guild is at like 8/10, it is a very rare scenario to be a gear issue and lets be honest, most people dont want tf back for this reason lol

Just No. We’re finally getting some structured loot back. You can be done with gear and that’s completely ok. There is a certain satisfaction with actually being Best in Slot equipped and not just “well it’s sorta BiS but i need it in +5 ilvl with a socket and leech.”
Getting rid of TF is one of the single best changes blizz is making with SL
Socket’s and leech exist as random proc’s in SL
A) it was just a generic example,
B) you can just buy sockets from maw-dude
C) there are still BiS lists and BiS gear, you just have to take the diminishing returns into account. there is still going to be THE item combination for you out there

Being able to progress becouse you overpower boss with gear isnt fun. Its boring. if someone is stuck on boss becosue they are no cappable of puuling of neough of w/e they lacking they dont doserver to kill boss and there should not be any system what allows you to compensate for lack of skill or cordination.
All this is just hidden real reason why some people wan TF back. They simply want better gear for less effort and nothjing els
If they haven’t removed it, yes. It’s been while since I’ve been on the beta but last time i checked you could just buy sockets to put on your gear once you had the appropriate rep.
So the rnd socket argument is dead in the water. sure, at the beginning they will be somewhat hard to get. But later on, once we had a chance to gain rep and stockpile some ressources… sockets for days mate
Really ? That’s good to hear , 8.3 sockets are expensive time wise.
it’s hard to judge because it’s beta so it’s under constant change and effectively in a permanent pre first raid tier status but from what i can tell, as time goes on we’ll have sockets on everything
