Bring back Unchained inflation :)

Well you try to assess WHY they lost. I can believe you they might have lost vs you in some scenario, in shuffle for example.
But do I believe you to be able to understand why that occured?
Honestly no.

Wdym you dont need to know why you won in order to win. It’s dragonflight most people have no clue what’s going on. In most cases you just go in, do dmg and try to find out what happened from death log after the game is over. I tried to play demo for first time in years. I just pressed random glowing spells and somehow everyone was dying. I didnt even read what my talents/spells do i just press stuff and it works. Yes i might be 1500 hardstuck however even at my low mmr i’ve been able to absolutely destroy some R1 rmps which means they probably had no clue what they were doing too since its well known fact you can’t lose as rmp. Every game you just coin flip (unless you play with rogue, then youre just trying to not lose the game and eventually He will 1v9)

propably meant that shuffle is filled with zero awareness people as his addressing some who only play shuffles. and that its pointless trying flex some occasional win against whoever from shuffles as there is million variables from abusing fotm to some random just playing bad on other side just to name few.

the moment i see someone saying that tracking cds on their opinion is bad or paying attention on party cds is unnessecary i know ive seen all i need to see why they have never surpassed beyond challengers in arenas.

this is propably what whisperer here were addressing to the shuffle enjoying dh trying flex in case you were honestly wondering but your writing seem bit trolling so im not certain if were even being serious, in any case all that you questioned him is plain and to be found from the post.

I think pvp needs shorter seasons, higher inflation and more simple recolors from season to season since they are shorter and maybe even reusing the elite sets like legion/s3s4 of sl.

I can only speak for myself but I don’t care about the gear progression aspect of arena at all. Shuffle is the most played mode right now and it doesn’t require you to find people to play with. Blizzard trying to prolong the duration of people being subbed makes sense for them but wouldn’t call it customer friendly, and it’s doubtful if that really works out in the long term.

Elahri also plays Hpriest in Shuffle right now which is basically the most miserable experience which you can have. There are also a lot of people saying the exact opposite that they won’t play the game until the last month. Also there’s some survivorship bias because you won’t hear the opinion of the people who have already stopped playing the game because they either can’t write on the forums without a sub or don’t even bother to voice their opinion.

Well if you want to improve you have to play the game, the idea of playing only for a month (whether it’s in the beginning or in the end) doesn’t work well for that.
I can only talk about myself but I feel extremely tired from the game right now. Can’t exactly say why (it most likely boils down to several factors) but healer MMR in Shuffle and MMR in 2s and 3s being messed up again is certainly not a motivating factor.

I think they could make the seasons shorter, require you to win x games above a certain rating, release more rewards throughout the season and it would work fine without inflation and a %-based ranking system with rating decay for people who are inactive and all that stuff.

I’ve only got a few normal gladiator pieces left to gather for mog and then I’m out until they fix holy, if they ever do, lol. The massive amount of resto druids certainly hasn’t made me want to play more solo shuffle either, I really don’t understand people’s problem with disc, they don’t seem that bad to me when I’ve met them when playing holy. Resto druids on the other hand

It’s no secret that MMR/rating system needs an overhaul as it’s extremely outdated.

You shouldnt quit cause some other healer of shuffle, you should choose not play the mode cause blizz hasnt still made it worth que as healer even after year from when it was introduced. So you have right reason

Whether or not you care about it is irrelevant to the fact that you have to keep up with it so you aren’t disadvantaged if you miss a few weeks. Do those other games make you do that, or are they ‘log on and play’?

These people are wanting Gladiator to be easier to get. Do you get Gladiator from solo shuffle?

Which is what has been said since the start.

Really? They’re still subbed, aren’t they? They still cap every week, they still play the game. If it wasn’t working for them, I’m sure they would have made substantial changes by now. Since you know, companies are about making money and if they’re losing money they want to rectify that as soon as they can. You don’t become a $74bn company by implementing strategies that ‘don’t work in the long term’. Links back to another original point: put up or shut up. If players have such an issue, cancel your subs, boycott the company, force change.

Do you watch football? It’s like the Manchester United fans buying season tickets and attending every game at Old Trafford to sing ‘we want Glazers out!’ (here’s our money, though).

And I play Shadow Priest in a DH/DK/Warlock/Warrior meta with at least 1 Disc Priest being in my lobby pretty much every single time, sometimes double Disc.

These guys don’t want to improve. They want to play against similar skill level players and still be rewarded for it, as if there isn’t enough participation medals already. Are you even reading what they are saying? I haven’t seen a single person in this 145 reply thread say that their improvement as a player is impeded.

Healers in solo shuffle are the only people in this game I have any sympathy for.

This thread has an abundance of people complaining that they’re playing against better players than them at low rating, this would literally make that worse. This reward already exists as well, it’s called the seasonal mount.

i swear theyre gonna fix the problem in the next expansion and make it look as if they are listening to feedback just wait. and the next expansion is gonna come with more horrible problems.
rip sl s2 :frowning:

Maybe those “non tryharding” bad player AWC champs will be able to hit glad now nam sayin

I dont think i have seen a more dead season for a long time. I remember all the names of who i am playing against, on all ratings and mmr brackets in 2v2 and 3v3. I dont even bother with solo shuffle because of que times. I rather get smashed by multiglad gigachads all day long with full addon kits and perfect cooldown trading and cc setups and max dps with their fancy macros and all that.

If people want arena to survive, this cant go on like this. Whatever needs to change to get more interest in arenas, has to happend soon.

Best would be if they removed it and gave the rewards to BGs.

Finally something we both can agree on.
Arena highly favors melees since those are small maps. There is always more melees than ranged anywhere from low rated to top ladder.

To be real I would have never touched arena because of this, but there are rewards there so I gotta get them somehow. Atleast 2v2 is more enjoyable than having my teeth kicked out every 3v3 match by double melees.

Please no bring unchained inflation

Many such cases

Every argument for why it’s bad is just a “muh prestige” argument in disguise ngl
