sure u get rewards easier than the tryhard meta we’ve got r1 players pushing 2k 6 weeks into the season, but cmon lads
Being a non-r1 player and defending the r1 catering is like having a wife and enjoying watching others spend time with her if you know what i mean.
This was always a problem in the wow community though. People would rather see the game die entirely than make rewards more obtainable.
I dont know why so many people pretend like wow arena ever had any integrity in the first place. Between boosting, botting, macro exploiting, fotm rerolling, extreme inflation etc just treat it for what it is. An extremely niche form of PvP that unfortunately is hard to replace for anyone enjoying the format n yet barely appeals to anyone who doesnt enjoy it.
Its the same as the whole shuffle discussion where people suddenly demand the gamemode is removed because they dont enjoy it. This is unironically the most self destructive community i´ve ever seen in a game.
The 3´s players spend over a decade abusing LFG players telling them to uninstall the game, blizzard introduces a new gamemode for the casuals to play n suddenly people scream for that gamemode to be removed so that the people they told to uninstall are once more forced back into 2s n 3s, not because they care about actual player participation or game health but so they can inflate the ladder, but wait. The playerbase is also against artificial inflation because they need those at the bottom of the ladder to stay at low rating n just inflate the top so they can withold the rewards and keep telling them they´re crap n should uninstall.
Does people really have so little going in their lives that the only thing keeping them afloat is feeding their superiority complex in an extremely niche minigame.
