yes personal loot is good, no one gets blamed, we can blame the system, but the system aint a person, this is good. causes no drama or hate, since its rng. no one gets to decide if u are worthy of a piece of pixle or not. There is one kind of playerbase wanting master loot. the ones who want it all.

Exactly, they will also pressure trials/ new guildies to give the drops to the core raiders. Itâs unfair. It will create a toxic environment with people feeling like minorities being abused (kinda sarcastic, but you get it).

Ive been in several guilds over the years where ive seen such, lucky for me ive been at a spot where i pretty much got what i wanted by being clever on dkp/ or performing well enough to get some kind of prio. however that does not mean i like to witness that new guy, he did all dungeons is fully pre raid bis, but he never get raid loot. and then some fool of leader just keeps giving the loot to the already fed dps. and question why the undergeard player does so little dmg etc, his good,hes playing well, good rotation and does tact but lacks gear, and since he lacks gear his dps will be rotten vs geared players so his prio is always low etc. the amount of stupid ive seen over the years. just thinking of it makes me wanna uninstall.

Iâm torn on this topic.
Friends and FOTM classes will always have priority.
The person who is playing the class that is brought for utility will be left behind, having to farm M+ non-stop to keep up. Until everyone else is geared up so they can have the leftovers.
Though, we do have the vault now and M+ is a good source for gear. There need to be some protection in cases were ML is present. Be it bonus roll tokens or âbadgeâ currency to buy pieces from a vendor.
I also donât want to spend 10 minutes after each boss to distribute the loot, taking away precious raid time during progression.
What I would like to see instead is the option to pass on loot roll in the current personal loot system. There are plenty of time where I donât need something from a few bosses and would rather pass on this so others have a chance to loot an item they need instead.

If they bring it back they NEED to make it only available to mythic raids. Anything else is just complete bs

It should be avaiable to anyone who wants to use it.
How is giving loot to your core guild members over to new trial unfair? Someone who spent months upon months progressing raid clearly deservers loot way more than someone what just joined your guild. In my past guild we had 2-3 week trial before you were eglible.for loot and nobady had problem with it.
Then ML would become the ânew standardâ. You could go PL and ML beforeâŚyet just scrolling through guild recruitments back then. 95% was with ML.

Because being a âcore guild memberâ doesnât warrant giving you anything. This was severely mismanaged in my guild in wotlk, a priest that had been raiding with the guild since TBC was given loot above others to âimprove his performanceâ, he was still wearing tier 6 pieces several weeks into naxxramas. By ulduar me and others in the guild started getting tired of it because his performance was awful despite being funnelled gear constantly.
The guild only realized that after they kept wiping when trying to do firefighter and I came online one evening and I replaced him and we did it first try after I joined. Like, I had pointed out he had no clue how to play for aaaaaaages but they kept giving him loot to âincrease his performanceâ. He was one of those coh spamming priests that couldnât heal after they added a cd to coh.

Yes it does. You have clearly put way more effort into progress than some nobady what just joined your guild.
Miss managment have nothing to do with master loot. If you dont like how your managment handless loot do not join such guild or change it but dont blame it on master loot thats not what caused it. It was your incompetent guild leaders.
It you dont like master loot dont use it but stop forcing your idea how should be loot handled on others. It doesnt afffect you in anyway.

First you assume that everyone does put the same effort. I might agree, issue is a lot of guilds have people that put effort in gearing not only via raid but getting maxed out via m+. Also guilds have slackers that wonât touch a m+ for random reasons. Lets say player A puts same effort as player B when raiding, but player A did like 150 m+ and has the bis item upgraded via valor at 272, while player B doing the same raid effort as player A has only a 265 item cause is a full time slacker at m+, there are people that donât even get the 3x vault options a week -.-.
With ML would you give a 278 upgrade to A or B? One is 6ilvl the other is 13.
Also what happens when you are a Main Tank or Main Healer and you want a dps trinket because you are a 3000+io dps player on your free time? Do you just get ignored for sigil or for the other dps trinket because its bad for your raid specc? You might be 3 times as good m+ player vs a dps from your raid.
With ML usually gear goes to the highest upgrade, which in many cases is the player that doesnât actually play the game outside raid and thus requiring more upgrades. Its the same with heroic gear I would say since u could easily be like full 262 spamming m15 at season launch and not needing heroic raid gear pretty much.

If we are talking about Top 100 guilds thatâs a different story as they might just do split runs and have 5 chars each to use the highest geared for a boss.

That was always a pain too, with PL redistributing unwanted loot itâs faster because not everything is up for grabs.

Most loot masters are just going to be people favouring their own circle and basically using the rest of the guild to fill the raids out.

the worst lie ive ever seen, most guilds wipe and wipe due to tact error not gear. keep on telling pure bs.
I joined a run once with a friendâs guildies, if I had known just how non-serious the guildie was about playing m+, I would never have joined. The guy went on a 10 min toilet break or something in the middle of a run. That was the first and last time I played with him.

You keep saying this but throughout history we saw the opposite. The only guilds where this happened are cesspool guilds which⌠SHOCKER, you could just leave and then they have no loot to distribute.
Good guilds donât have ML problems. Trash guilds do. Says a lot about the sort of player you are.
