Well, if you want to play m+ just casually that’s on you. The guy I posted was one example because I know him from my guild. But there are so many other good m+ rets out there who take this a little bit more serious.

Found your problem, you think you shouldnt need to use one of your best abillities against movement impairing effects … its like if me on my druid i shouldnt need to shapeshift to get rid of roots

But then again he also has not even done 1 boss in Mythic raiding so M+ must be the life for that person when you do that getting 1600-2000 is not hard if you go for it as you have a group of people to play with most dps specs are viable to at least 20s if you have a group.
Your friend is also playing with a group NOT pugs and the high keys was done on Easy weeks

As said, I took the first guy that came into my mind, and he is from my guild. Afaik he does not even have mythic gear since he is not actively raiding and not playing a lot atm. There are so many other good PvE rets out there. If you think there are not that’s stupid on your part. You can assume and degrade all you want, saying it’s all group or it’s all easy week, it doesn’t matter. In the end, ret paladins remain a solid pick for m+.
This is littearlly Factually not true in M+ HE IS STILL RIGHT THIS SECOND 156 RET PALADIN IN THE WHOLE WORLD according to RiO ANd in this Region he is 76 ret paladin.

Ret paladin is fine in m+ i am not claming otherwise but also EVERY SINGLE DPS spec in the GAME has done mythic +20.

We got same ilvl i do some casual stuff now to gear up like m0 normal runs random bgs.I have noticed that i dont even need a healer to go to bg instead of arms who literaly depends on healer.Mobility? Even without charge u can catch any range.Bof steed hand of hindrance.Our defensives are the best in game.8 sec immunity to everything cc breaker.30%hp as shield which explodes.We even have spell to remove poisons and diseases.We have strong off heals.Try selfless healer or Wog .Justicars venge is so so.What else?Damage? Our hard hits bypass armor lol.U either clueless or troll.As for m+ i havent done yet but wake of ashes and 3 divine storms equals with a bladestorm.Also we can ignore certain mechanics and we can help to avoid wipe.
I checked your armory. You haven’t even done high end content you haven’t even done the last two bosses on normal diffeculity.

Fury war , ret pala , DH , rogue those classes/specs are most faceroll but do you know why ret is the biggest faceroller? Your bubble , you just press one button and you are safe for 8 seconds while you can use avenging wrath and on top of that you are CC imune. You can survive 100 enemys for 8 seconds just with one button. Bubble was always in the game true but paladin had penalty during bubble , either damage reduction ( wrath to cata ) or damage speed ( vanilla to tbc ) also you was not allowed to pop wings into bubble.

Ret needs buff in sustained dmg and nerf in burst, at least for PvE.
Ret without using anytime wings in pve, do 40% of their dmg potential. (Example, without wings on a 5 min fight, i can do 20 - 25k dps unitarget, with wings, i can do 50 - 60ks unitarget)
PvP Wise we arent bad, but every other melee spec that share comp with us, are more worth to take with than us, for example, our bis comp atm is with warrior, so, dh or dk have better toolkit in the comp (purge, mana burn, necrotic, sustained dmg, range kick, good self defensives, and also, group defensives; like magic zone, or darkness; better mobility to follow the warrior swaps, and gap closers, like grip)
Ret lack in sustained dmg, no mortal, no purge, no spammeable cc. Just burst dmg and some utility.

Yes ,buff sustain but nerf burst. Right now ret is weak without wings but when they pop them. People die.

Good solutions may be increase haste bonus from inquisition and buff the dp proc rate.
Still, not going to happen because of pvp, any buff will be too much on wings, and you can’t nerf those.

Yet, you dare not posting on your “Ret” which you claim is your main.
That’s not how facts work. One of you must be wrong. And so far, it has been you, since you have no data besides your unproven personal experiences to back up your absurd claims.
Even that example is wrong. The flat earthers are a minority, not a majority. Besides, we have the empirical evidence that the earth is in fact round, not flat. We have numerous tested positive experiments we can conduct ourselves to prove so and we can basically observe the curvature of the earth from some viewpoints. And all of the “counter experiments” to prove that the earth is flat by the flat earthers have been disproven since the success of the experiments they conduct are usually results of misinterpretation of actual scientific knowledge.
All this, to tell you that you are wrong. You are entitled to personal opinions on the matter but you cannot title it as facts.
