Bug in Alliance AV respawn GY?

AV starts and if i get killed after Horde caps SHGY i will respawn in Dun Baldar GY and not at Stormpike GY that is Alliance controlled too. So I Will have to mount up, take the road back to the battle, go to the bridge, pass alongside Stormpike GY, all the way till Icewing bunker. The question is why cant i respawn at nearest graveyard that is Stormpike?

it’s not so much as a bug, but the map is poorly built.

In my opinion AV Graveyards have a sequence, if I die in the midlle of the map and there’s two graveyards that Alliance controls, why can’t I respawn at the nearest GY that is Stormpike?

Don’t think it’s a design problem, it’s a bug, not working as intended, and from I recall it didn’t work like that in Vanilla.

Not that it solves the real problem, but wouldn’t it be faster to jump down the back door and ride through that harpy valley?

That’s a shortcut but i don’t think it’s faster, because you still have to take the road when you arrive icewing bunker, and the road is to the left of the map in the direction of Stormpike Graveyard.

Besides that you can also aggro mobs and have to jump down some hills, loosing a bit of health.

In short, i think it takes more time going from Dun Baldar GY to get to ICW, and we should ress at SP GY that it’s near the center of the map.

You spawn at the nearest graveyard, technically, the Aid Station Graveyard is closer if you draw a straight line between that GY and your death if it’s on the west side or around Balinda Bunker. Unfortunately that doesn’t take into account the actual route. Another advantage Horde get via the amazing map design

I agree, it can be closer drawing a direct line, but we don’t have a direct path to connect Aid Station GY to where we were in the middle of the map, so we have go to the road that connects to SP GY, so it’s more time that we take to return to the battle.
