Mana drain effects currently affect druids in Bear and Cat form. This is not how it was in vanilla! Please fix before the honor-system is activated, as druid pvp will be completely gimped with this bug.
Tend to find abolish poison does the trick if its hunters you are concerned about, and can you give proof it wasn’t like that in vanilla as I thought it was.
I remember because I played a lot of pvp as a feral druid in vanilla. Oh, and here’s your proof:

" [Patch 1.4.0] (patch date:2005-05-05): This spell can no longer be used on warrior and rogue targets. In addition, while it can be used on a druid target at any time it will only drain mana when the druid is in caster form."
Basically: bear and cat form don’t have mana. They have rage and energy.
Yes, get that. Guess I played druid earlier than you
Blizz should fix that as we are playing in 1.12 crapness.
Played it from day 1, but it took me a while to level to 60
Patch 1.4 happened just two months after launch in Europe. I don’t understand why some people are so quick to pull credentials instead of just admitting a simple mistake.
We all misremember things, it’s not the end of the world [of Warcraft]!
Primarily played Druid for the first so many months.
But then you didn’t play much because you didn’t get mana burned since? Or, more likely, you forgot. But then how was having played before others relevant?
Anyway, sorry, just poking fun at how you felt you needed to defend your “Vanillaness” even though it wasn’t really necessary. Asking whether it was actually that way back then is very a sensible thing to do. I just think the proper answer would just be “oh ok” and not “I played Vanilla before you”
Good luck with that.
