Positive surprise but what will happen regarding names? I assume the players on the old servers will be forced to namechange incase of a clash?
Also can you comment on the heavily imbalanced servers? (Gehennas, Golemagg, Earthshaker on EU). Can people who play on the minority there get free transfers too?
Seriously, I do not understand the people who complain about “too few players”.
Almost every empty server has a free transfer option (which, by the way, caused the problem in the first place or made it worse. Thanks, Blizzard, for absolutely nothing!). Who wants to leave, can go.
Are people so dependent that they need someone to close the realm before they leave?
I do not need anyone who patronizes me, how many people I need minimum to be able to play.

Nein - Celebras ist nicht tot, und umziehen werde ich auch nicht. Wenn mir Blizzard meine (WoW)Heimat nimmt, bin ich weg. Ich bin es leid, belogen zu werden, ich bin es leid, als RP-Spieler für Blizzard wertlos zu sein, es reicht mir einfach.
Ich kann sogar dann noch RP spielen, wenn ich alleine auf dem Server bin, was ja nicht mal der Fall ist.
Es ist keine Notwendigkeit, Clelebras zu töten …
So what realm is best to transfer to, that is not Firemaw, with good A/H ratio? My realm is in this list but it’s 2 months until this happens. Any suggestions?

What i didn’t find is: Are you also lifting the free character migration restriction from PvP to PvE ?? If you don’t do that, then the next problem will rise after you’re done with the project in the topic.
English PvE servers need more Horde, biggest English horde PvE server atm is Mirage-Raceway

where is the “RP” in “MMORPG”, if you will close all the rp servers? this is really really sad. there are people still playing on rp servers because they like it! yes, it can be hard to find groups; yes, it can be hard to get 25 players together for a raid; yes, you can hardly find stuff in the auction house (which also leads to players that are talking with each other and helping each other) but people still didn’t transfer to bigger servers and keep playing on the very small rp servers. i’m pretty sure there is enough money to keep running some small populated servers. isn’t it, blizzard? please.
If it was not so sad, it would be funny: “We won’t have LDF, Race and Faction change for RP reasons”, but then they close down the RP servers. Talk of pleasing nobody!
I find this extremely funny and sad at the same time … I am too lazy to find the exact quote … but half of the nonsense changes for wotlk and classics were blamed on rp community and how they listen to them and then they completely screw them over …
I personally dislike RP-ers and I couldnt care less if they all got outright banned, but that doesnt prevent me from seeing how garbage blizz is …

It’s just a very small vocal rp audience that forced for example celebras to be created, but then took immediately the free transfer off as soon as it was available
The most “vocal” players from back then are still on Celebras, and active or had to pause due to real live stuff.
Most players joined the Realm AFTER it was created.

The realm is still active too, with an active community.
So razorgore - who use to have almost 8k players… now has 508…
