Early 50’s you have ST and Mara, those dungeons are not camped and players in that level range should be more willing to do them if the ganking on your server is truly that bad.
I’ve been ganked a fair few times myself on Gandling but I just play around it if I’m being ganked in one zone then I’ll move to a zone or spot where I know I’ll encounter minimal horde. Even when I was questing in Tanaris I was very rarely ganked outside of Gadgetzan.
The problem is that so many players are just not willing to play around it, the majority of ganking goes on in SG and BRM - stay away from them until you absolutely have no choice to run those dungeons for gear and attunements, you can do that at 60.
So many posts on these forums saying the game is unplayable but it’s simply untrue, there are places you can go it just seems that people are stubborn and unwilling to do so.
This is what is going to happend once bg’s are out, Horde will have very long queue times as in no less than 10 minutes and probably a lot longer. If the worst case scenario comes true where Alliance players have all given up in P2 they will have 30+ min queues and in order to rank up you will have Horde ganking just like they do today. Because Alliance are guaranteed to have instant queues life on pvp server will still be hell.
I suggest you make a character on pve realm now because pvp servers are dying.
If Horde queues really are as bad as I predict them to be you’ll see a fair few Horde players who want to spam BG’s reroll because they won’t want to deal with the wait time in the queues which should help faction balance a little bit.
You’ll find a lot of these players currently saying they won’t reroll even if it’s a long queue which is easy to say when your not yet faced with that situation. BUT give them a few weeks of waiting 30-60 minutes in a queue after they get home from work only to join a BG that is about to end or join a game and Alliance purposely don’t enter to send them back into the queue and they will soon get fed up when they only have 4 hours to play a night and 90% of that will be sitting in a queue or getting to enjoy the last 2 minutes of a game before being booted back out and having to re queue again. They could effectively spend an entire night queuing if they are unlucky enough for this to happen and barely get to play a single WSG.
And yes, they will then have to go out and do WPvP in between battlegrounds which will also be frustrating losing out on ranking or even going down a rank if they are highly ranked because they wasn’t able to find as many Alliance to gank as other horde players on the server also competing.
Think if Blizz want to force some balance to realms, they’d need to do faction only queues, but also have an option for faction changing characters. So those that have levelled characters can swap to a less populated side, because I highly doubt people would reroll characters after spending the last few months of time/effort levelling, gearing etc.
Yup - I did that a bit; + Silithus. Not really sure what the OP is on about tbh. I’ve gone from 51-59.99999 over the last 2 weeks with only a few issues.
At the end of the day OP you rolled on the wrong server type.
Or your server going from 50/50 to 72/28 and nobody about to back you up.
You will soon whine when nobody left to Wpvp agaisnt you horde brought on yourselfs.
People have lifes . People not all roll meta classes to get easy dungeon invites. Vannila wasnt a race to 60 but the min/max players like you might want to rush things others dont.
The only one I have, which is fair to the majority of players is bringing back layering with an equal faction quotient for each layer. So if it’s 2000 players you get 1000 horde and 1000 alliance. Yes, some layers will be dominated by one faction but that will be only one layer, possibly two and none of the other faction will be there.
Also turn off layer jumping.
Then again the alliance don’t like going out into the world and fighting so they will still be Horde dominated in the open world. So maybe it’s not a solution.
When you sign up to a pvp server you agree to that ruleset this includes
Having the game be functionally unplayable
Being graveyard camped
Being flight path camped
Being corpse camped
Being ganked 50 to 1
Being outnumbered 2:1 on your server
This has been the case for over a decade and always will be
Ofc I read it - he said he can’t play because lvl 50-59 zones are full of honour farmers. This is PvP happening on a PvP server. Or is it not PvP happening on a PvP server? It’s one or the other.
There server has 3 x the players yours has which means being out numbered and out matched alot more than you.
Also the server was semi balanced and now its imbalanced .
Simply logic dictates there is no way to fight back .
This type of honor grinding never happened in 2005/2006.
Please understand the OP doesnt mind PvP so please stop being obtuse and assuming they do.
Stop being obtuse to the problem and telling players to reroll or go pve it helps no body and is silly to push players away.
I completely understand how frustrating it must be to be killed while trying to level on a pvp server, being ganked non stop. But can you really blame them? They want to rank up, and need honor in order to do so. If they kill you, they get honor, so they rank up. This is possibly why the people who are killing you, choose to be on a pvp server.
