I don’t know if I’m allowed to post links on here, so I won’t. But on Twitter you can find a group called readysetdragons. They post a link to their Discord channel and they do AOTC for free. I got my achievement from them. They do giveaways for spots, so there’s some amount of patience and luck involved.

Its a trade transaction which is under ToS so perfectly legal. Not sure if there is a reason to have a philosophical debate on how “good or evil” this is.

There is always place for philosophical debate, otherwise we stagnate considering laws (and ToS is law for WoW).
Games studios have promoted/banned boosting based on how the community wants, or based on their company philosophy.

It has to be when people disagree with you, right?
I find it unethical to boost and advertise boosts as I believe it seriously damages the health of the game. Achievements completely loose their value if they all start at the in-game store with a WoW token.
Voicing that opinion, is not harassment.
Just because boosting for gold or multiboxing isn’t against the ToS doesn’t mean I have to be okay with it. If anything, it is worth having those discussions about.
So yeah, I did poke a question at Punyelf as to why he knows these boosters, communities and whatnot, if he doesn’t actively use their services.
He said he doesn’t, got defensive and so it ends there. I’m not accusing him of anything and I’ll take his word for it.

You should also cry me a river. How many people in this game are just bad players but have the privilege of being carried by guild/friends both in pve and pve? Its loads of them.
People who buy boosts just miss that privilege, and only difference is they decided to spend ingame gold on it.
I know a guy playing mage at 2300/2500 rating, got carried by his friends/guildies who have some very good pvpers, and we are talking about a mage so bad he would lose 1v1 against basically everyone 30 itemlevels lower.
Im sure you never did anything “bad” ingame. Since you are such a whiteknight: They dont break any rules.
Did he mention karma farmers or horde bias? That’s usually the deciding factor.

Your argument that you can’t win anything and that no rewards should be deserved because “it’s just a game brah” makes no sense. Blizzard should stop making their game pay-to-win with this token crap.
