I did not upgrade the item - it’s an offhand so I can’t upgrade it
Something is def. off hand here…
I really am not even sure if a human reads the tickets - do they have an address, I’m thinking to send them a written letter. Then at least a human can pick it up and throw it in the bin xD
It has nothing to do with how long they had that item. It happens to players that a minute after the purchase they realize that it would have been better if they had bought something else.
They probably don’t want to waste resources on human mistakes
its rather comparable to buying boxer shorts. once u unpacked em and put em on u cant send em back for a refund even if the customer service wants to help u they are not allowed to take em back.
ofc i know where u coming from u wish blizz was more customer firendly and help. but ye they integrated warnings making it clear that u have to double check because they wont help.
since its just an offhand it aint that tragic, these thing dont cost that much.
just own up to your mistake and buy the right one later.
Yep, they don’t want to provide any support - they do however want to collect your money.
Except it’s not boxers which are not a digital item on a computer game. The code of my item changing from one to another isn’t going to negatively impact another player.
Yeah, sure we should all just let all the little things go. But, when we can help each other maybe it would be better for us to just do that
They don’t want to waste time providing support on trivial CX mistakes. Its pretty time-consuming and a waste of resources to do so.
I mean there are two confirmation dialogs - but yes, people never read UIs. Anyone who works in IT knows that.
well u made a comparison to a hurt person who needs help at a hospital…
in that regard ye. because they dont want to change every item back somebody just equipped regardless of 2 warnings. support actually helped me twice this year with stuff theiy couldve just declined because i wanted to reverse decisions.
I’m wondering, are you the kind of person that is allergic to peanuts and still decides to eat peanut butter despite the warning labels and then sues the company for your allergic reaction?
That’s great that they helped you when they could have declined. Maybe you actually got a human reading your ticket, I wish it was like that every time.
Haha, but peanut butter is too tempting, it’s not my fault it taste so good.
In all seriousness though, if they don’t want to refund it then I have no power to stop them.
Its not entirely true either. I did the same mistake with a crit-ring, and sent a ticket. They said since I had upgraded it, it became a “new” item which isnt tied to the vendor and for that reason they cant perform a normal reversal process.
Had i sent a ticket BEFORE I UPGRADED, even if i equipped it, then they could have helped me. And the more i read ops different posts, on his BC alt, the more im convinced that he is actually lying or trolling.
And im a fkn bloodhound when it comes to liars and trolls.
If you are not clever enough to Buy the Right item Deal with the consequences.
I mean its just 1 pvp item … Farm it new and Go on…
Interesting they gave that explanation to you, it’s not an item that can be upgraded so I guess they should be able to change it.
what item shall that be? in sl every item u buy from the pvp vendor can be upgraded with honor, except the conduits ofc.
Off hand - tbc classic
This is so me
But accept my mistakes with an aching pain in my rear end
If you do something zero brain requiring 20 times in a row you always lose your focus. Too many popups are worth like 0 popups turning into simply annoying mechanic.
They’re not annoying, though. They’re there to save you from making mistakes. Take the vault for example, you choose your reward, a pop up comes up showing you the item you have chosen with a countdown from 5 before you confirm your decision.
Why are you crying about a TBC item on a retail arena forum? Like…what is your purpose lol
Well, it never saved me from anything outside of getting things done faster. Gotta squeeze the sub retention as much for as low effort possible. Thats how blizzard functions.
