What I always found funny with that addon, is that people pay for it, and on top of that every time they ding the give free advertising in chat.

In the past people sold very weird things to get their flying mount gold… so you know - gold, gold never changes.
I would not jump to accusations straight away, this is still an Alexsensual video. People paying to level up “faster” based on an addon that solves the game for you should be awarded a medal of stupidity… however, if there is some money relationship between HC/Rested Exp creators and Blizzard devs then it’s getting really bad really quickly.

So someone using 100 of hours to make the addon and trying out to find the best route to level. And then start making money from it to pay for all them hours of trying and failing…
Some people need to know how to make money and not just live on mom`s paycheck…
I don`t have the addon but i understand why they take money for…
Some people love game and community, want help each other. Maybe rest of the people that made other addona gonna start ask for monet so we can use them.
Unfortunately we have also greedy people.
Blizzard rules didn’t come along yesterday. They have been in place for a very long time now.
If you make an addon, and then try to profit by charging for it (don’t try the “the addon is free, you pay for data”, BS) then you are breaking those rules, simple, no ifs or buts. Its been ignored by Blizzard as it seems there was an inside person linked to it all.
Now if you make an addon and its very easy to spend way more than 100 hours on it, you can of course provide options for donations. That is very different from requiring payment.
Bottom line is this
RestedXP broke the rules but was allowed to continue due to a money trail back into Blizzard.
So why only go after RestedXP when Zygor and Joanna also breaking the same rules??
All work should be paid, that’s not the point. If you’d ask me Blizzard should have employed addon makers for good, they’ve been outsourcing labour through addons forever.
The point here is that this was shady business selling as some heartfelt bull for community welfare, while it was just another way to squeeze people out their money.
That said, I can’t even fathom the type of person who’d go for HC and then use paid addons to simplify something which’s point is to be difficult. like zeroooo integrity. I mean it’s the same as with RMT/GDKP crowd who think playing the game is a job they can skip by doing another job.
It boils down to a skewed image of enjoyment and spending your free time. It’s an interesting example of how people treat leisure time in late capitalism. It’s like a guy who likes to do equations but instead of solving them he finds the answers online and then tweets them. Only to ask himself later why he doesn’t find any joy in doing math anymore.

Real gamers know each quest (for their faction) by heart, because they did them so many times. No addon needed.

Well you can play the game without buying the RPX addon and no one forcing you to buy it.
If streamers start saying 5% of when you buy Cola from this place do you have to buy it??
And why is it shady registering as a company is clever compare to get everything on your self. And they also pay out price money in tournament`s and it is good contend to watch.
I think the video is garbage with so much he say so and so and not enaugh fact to make it shady. It is all out of context and because a nobody make a youtube video about it does not make it true, Newsflash Internet is full of lies.
I hope people can start doing their own investigation and not belive eveything that comes out. If you watch the video and see someone sitting there saying someone gave someone 5000$ without names or anything to back it up then it is not worth 5 cent.
The document that was deleted was for Era and have been shown in many streams earlier and have nothing to do with this case at all.
I think the video shoud be reported because posting it on blizzard forum is nameshaming the parts in here and has nothing to do in Blizzard forums at all. Against Tos is people using much here.
And no i am not working for RXP I have nothing to do with the staff in hardcore i just use my brain when i see and read stuff on the internet.
Lol the people behind RXP are litteraly running. Kargozz deleted his entire YT channel to stop people from investigating further. I was hesitant at first but you dont delete evidence unless you have something to hide. Alex was right in this case.

Dont get this at all so some people buy it and most dont buy it. If you buy everything you see a ad on telly your going to be broke soon.
You dont need the addon to play hardcore You dont need the addon to win price money coming from the addon creators.
You don`t need to follow streamers to win money
You only need to be good to play the game and have some luck since many good players out there.
So RXP is just a addon invented by som of the fastest levelers that wanted to help someone else level faster. And they always try and improve the addon so it get faster and faster. Do you need it to level 1-60 in a 20 year old game? Answer is no but people buy it since they like the challenge to level fast.
So to end it before it becomes a wall of text hardcore live well and is doing good without the XRP they dont control anything they just put out some nice tournaments for the community to participate inn.
It not really a challenge when you buy a guide telling you every move to make, thats just following instructions (from a padi for addon/service/product)
You have you opinions (reason to try and defend) but ultimately the product (addon+extras) broke the rules and was able to do so because of an inside person nudging the classic direction here there to benefit certain people.
If there was nothing to hide or feel dodgy about WHY has nobody come along to debunk the video or otherwise prove the claims wrong? (and i dont mean you on these forums, but an actual blizz employee of some sort)
