Can`t level basic mining to 300

Hi there,

Im trying to learn Smelt Elementium Bar´ but i cant find a way to level Basic Mining to 300.
Im at 295 Mining at the moment, it was hard as hell to get from 291 to 295, took us 90 minutes to get just 4 skillpoint (and yes, i saidus´ since my girl flew me around on the sandstone drake… im level 68, so i only have a Slow A_s_s Mount… seriously wouldve taken me 3 hours for just 4 skillpoints, its rediculous ).
Anyway, Smelt Enchanted Thorium Bar´ also is grey, andSmelt Elementium Bar´ requires 300 Mining.
Dark Iron is also grey, so im out of loss.
No idea how to get the remaining skillpoints.

(P.s. skill leveling is seriously out of balance… sometimes ORANGE doesn`t give a skillpoint, and Yellow requires MANY times crafting to give a skillpoint… and this is unacceptable… because People sell crafting material at way overpriced prices… 999% is truly overdoing it :p… so when i buy expensive stuff, is EXPECT to get skillpoints from YELLOW crafts, let alone orange ).

But i aint mad… just a little annoyed`ish

Have you done the darkmoon quest this week? That gives 5 points to vanilla mining.

Rearm, Reuse, Recycle

It gives skill points to the highest expansion skill. So if she didn’t max Zandalari mining, it will give her skill ups there first.

Don’t know if anything changed but end of last year I finished it by smelting Dark Iron Ore in Blackrock Depths. Had to do some in dungeon event to get access to the ability and then only can smelt them in a specific forge inside the dungeon. Was pretty cool.
