Can we get a clarification on Hand of Justice (HoJ) Does it drop from Angerforge or from Emperor?

Hello team,

My guild and I have been running 14 hours of emperor runs today. And haven’t seen one single HoJ drop. We kill General Angerforge in same run.

Can somebody please clarify if HoJ drops from General Angerforge, Emperor or both?

Screenshot is appriciated, we don’t trust anyone anymore :smiley:

EDIT: We are not interested in assumptions or loot tables from either wowwiki, thottbot, atlasloot or anything like that. We only interested in first hand proof. Everyone apperently have a different idea of which loottable is correct.

I have no screenshot, but I got it from Angerforge. I too thought it only dropped from Emperor, but apparantly it seems to be both.

Some said they’ve seen it from both. But since we ran it for 14 hours without seeing a single one, and everyone having different assumptions… We really dont know anymore :S

Where do you think those loot tables come from? They are submitted by players. So they are exactly what you ask for: First hand proof.

No idea, but I expect I’ll find out on any one of my 10,000 future BRD runs I’m envisioning as we speak. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It wouldn’t be the first time in my 15 years of playing WoW, that a loot table from a website have been wrong.

The loottables are not determined by player submissions.

Angerforge is the orignal dropper of Hoj, but a bug in vanilla made it possible for emperor to also drop it, for a much smaller % tho.

And since it’s nochanges, its the same rn.

I only saw it dropping from Angerforge so far.

Incidentally, I would also like to point out how Golem Skull Helm seems to be dropping from Phalanx instead of Magmus.

Got mine from Angerforge, And my Force of will from Emp. Haven’t seen emp drop HoJ yet and vise versa.

Very rare,

If this version of WoW is anything like the original, seeing Ironfoe drop before HoJ is nothing out of the ordinary.

According to itemization.info it dropped of angerforge until patch 1.10.

It then changed to emperor when they added the 0.5 tiers sets and all the new loot from the dungeon (sash of the grand hunt etc).

It might be angerforge as people have said then until a later phase.

Not sure if this is still relevant but Esfand (a wow streamer) just looted it 5 mins ago from Angerforge… can prolly find it in hos past broadcasts if you want actual proof I guess… GL hunting it!

I can now as thread-starter confirm that Angerforge drops HoJ.

I got it on my 53th run. Still haven’t seen it from Emperor. Good luck hunting
