Pip’s skinner has a relatively low drop %, and with The Beast being the second to last boss, its more challenging getting together a group that goes all the way several times.
Ony scales are needed for BWL and skinning her demands +15 to max level. The same goes for Core hounds. With the phases coming quicker it will be harder getting raid groups for ubrs.
So a vendor item, a drop from several mobs in ubrs etc. Please 
It’s drop rate is 18%. Assuming only 1 raid member need this, and it can be farmed in 10 people dungeon, i dont think that it’s hard to get just 1 skinner for the entire raid.
Lol wut? Pip’s Skinner is trivial to get. It has 1/5 drop chance in a 10 man dungeon that is being run at all hours of the day and takes under 1h to complete. And there is rarely more than one skinner. You can feasibly farm it in one day.

18% droprate is 18/100, that means I can, worst case scenario go into 82 runs without a drop. And then lose a roll when it eventually drops:face_with_peeking_eye:
What kind of twisted logic is this? 18% drop rate means on average it drops every 5 to 6 runs. And it’s not an item desired by many. (Unlike say Dal’rands or Briarwoood Reed) That’s an easy item to get by Vanilla standards.
You can always make a full UBRS run and HR Pip’s if you worry about rolling for it when it drops. It will fill instantly by people after the swords, trinket, carapace, you know, actual hard to get things.
18 out of a hundred, that is the exact definition of percentage. Guildmate have seen it drop 1/10, that would be 10%. I have 5 runs without a drop.
But you are correct, there are groups going for JED or whatever everyday, but they arent going to the beast.
It’s so strange talking to people that aren’t mentally equipped to understand statistics. 18 out of a 100 also means (approx.) one in five and a half. On a long enough time scale, the skinner will drop every five and a half runs. Yeah you can go for 10, 20, 40 runs without it dropping. It just means you are becoming increasingly unlucky minority. For majority of people out of 10 runs will have dropped twice.
There are groups for full run also. I did about 50 of those before I got my 11% chance Magisters chest from the last boss. (Lost 2 of them to green geared casters who “needed it for the stats”) Never waited more than 15 min for full group to form.

The cape is only used for bwl. And more and more people will have it. So the the demand will drop each week which will crash the price 
Same amount of Onyxias will be killed for months to come, while hardly any alts needing the cloak will be added to the player pool. The cloak/scale will never cost as much as it did last 2 weeks.

And also you can see it in sod where price is around 400g currently. Ofc sod is very inflated but it just shows that not many people doing onyxia there, as well as on fresh most guilds will stop doing it soon
Sod is a bad exampel.
Ppl still do bwl and stuff in sod since you get some piecies that can be useful from there and doing an alt is super fast and easy to level.
But the biggest issue on sod is that they added a coin that everyone can loot from onyxia, but usually people dont loot this coin which means onyxia is not skinable(you can look on this in sod forums ppl complsining about thus issue) so it ends up with lesser ony skins on sod☺️
If you look at era however ony cape is cheaper even tho its alot of gold there.
Ye because era is era… There are not so much new players, mostly old players that dont need ony cloak. And its still 160g btw, but with anniversary prices ye its around 50g (if compared by gold rmt prices), thats not so much but again era is mostly old players that have everything and just farming naxx
