Please. I seriously want to be able to use these wings without having to run around in a bikini. This is probably something that should be brought to the team’s attention when combatting sexualisation of women in-game.
Alternatively, just change the chestpiece to a less revealing one.
I’ve been thinking about a new idea - Sub-cloak. It would be nice to have a new armor type that will be usable in cloak spot, but in transmog planner, there could be a small icon in top left corner on the cloak icon that could be used for these kind of stuff. It would include Void Elf wings, Wrathion backpack, Vulpera backpack, RAF backpack, all Shadowlands cosmetic cloaks. It would be also a nice change for cloak users. You would be able to use both cloaks and these “sub-cloaks”
Just pop the tabard on and it matches perfectly.
Well im all for, to detach the void wings from the chest piece so I could use the void wings with my Kirin tor cloth set. I think I mentioned that in a different thread.
I like Lyraseth Idea for sub cloak, maybe I can have the 7th legion cloak and the void wings on the back.
I shouldn’t have to do that whenever I want to use my heritage wings.

I definitely wouldn’t mind the void heritage chest getting “fixed” by current efforts… it doesn’t even look good on males and well, the female version is embarassing. The collar just clips with basically every hair style. Really awkward in a heritage set. And yes, I’d like to wear those wings with different, less yellow moggs!
Would prefer them to be attached to the shoulders rather than the cloak personally, unless the wings were the cloak like the Vulpera backpack.
As for the tabard, that’s a fair idea but does give you a tabard tail 
so I would also ask for shortened tabard options that stop at the waist.

How about detach it from the chest piece and since Blizz is creating new customization options for void elves just put the wings there so they can be used with ALL armor pieces. Then they could even create new shapes and types of wings.
How is a bikini the best mog set in the game? It’s very far from one. I cannot even wear it without covering up with a shirt and tabard. Stand-alone, it’s not even an usable set.
I agree with attaching the wings to the cloak slot. Then we are totally free to pair them with full armour or even other bikini tops if we so wished.
I just realized the Highmountain Tauren already have this as a feature. Their totem isn’t tied to the chest piece, but instead serves as a “cloak” in terms of transmogging. While it’s true that Void Elves have a cloak already, making the wings a second cloak and having the choice between the two would, in my opinion, be better than matters as they stand.

My void elf warrior wouldn’t be able to use that nice cloak with her set, if the wings were on the cloak.
