The boring squad. They will forgive any betrayal, any war crime, any genocide, and they’ll always try and be friends together again.
Oh, they’re so wise. They never hold a grudge. They always see the bigger picture. They know how to move past their differences.
Zzzzzz.
I’m so done with these perfect, righteous characters. I hope some of them die, sooner rather than later.
No, Wise characters are the only thing that makes sense anymore. With the amount of Orcs and Humans killed in senseless conflicts there should be hardly any people left in Azeroth. There is simply no way to wage war with each other anymore.
Ebonhorn has been aligned with the Horde since he hatched. Now that he has inherited his father’s mantle the Horde has been bolstered.
Anduin is not his father. Many who would have boldly followed Varian doubts Anduin.
Thrall understands that carving out an existence and place for the Horde can not always be done with the Axe. Where others are short sighted Thrall has vision.
Baine is the last remnants of the honour of the Horde but they did ruin his character. Went from imposing Lauren that fearlessly drove out the Grimtotems to the lackey of Nathanos Blightcaller and crying on mommy Mayla’s shoulder.
The reason they feel boring is there have not been much or any growth.
Perhaps new leaders and champions are needed or old ones finally doing something.
Yes, that’s what you want from every president in real life.
But this is a fantasy setting.
If all Game of Thrones characters were wise, nobody would have cared about that show because the story would have been extremely boring and the characters very plain and one dimensional.
I’m gonna die on the hill that it’s too late for any kind of faction war.
Cata was the time to do this kind of storylines. Was the story handled well, we could have had a long-lasting faction conflict that spans over several expansions but doesn’t paint the Horde as war-obsessed morons and the Alliance as forgiving morons.
At this point I welcome the wisdom and peace. I’m tired of faction war the way Blizzard does it and I truly hope it never comes back in any shape or form.
