Nope you must farm the same mount 50 times it gives them more sub money.
What Blizzard said and what Blizzards true intentions are, are two very different things when it comes to the trading post.
If Blizzard wanted to create a short questline to implement that armour, it would be much more satisfactory than just being given it for âfreeâ for just logging in.
But what do Mounts even mean anymore? There are just so many, that they donât really matter. Most of the time I get a new mount, I learn it and thatâs the last that I see of it nowadays.
And when do we even ride them? M+. The rest of the time weâre flying around on Dragons. If anything Dragonriding has killed Mount Collecting (and Iâm kind of quite relieved about it).
Yeh, the Warden Transmog thing is atrocious. Iâm the most Anti-Night Elf player youâll meet, and even I think that should be a Night Elf only Mog.
But then this High Scholars Mogs store mog should have been a Mage only thing.
i love the vendor ones and rep ones but the rare spawns⌠i just donât bother. i think they added so many mounts recently because the baseline cosmetics of dragonflight were trash, at least for me, i didnât want to farm any of them except that bird one (still donât have) theyâre kinda making up for it imo and having more isnât bad just spread them through time to get them.
wishing for less rare spawn mounts tho
the game needs a new reward type.
mounts, pets and toys are getting extremley out of hand. its just a number getting up.
Housing would/could solve this problem. new profession. new rewards put into old and new content.

Its the usual people telling others how the game should be and why we should play it there way.
Collectors are real players and its all they do DO NOT take away there game play just because you cant handle it.

well, I dont think you will suddenly get more quests or dungeons because the art dept is working on less mounts or petsâŚI dont think game development works that way!
Im fine with the amount of content, I love all the new stuff to collect. In fact I think they have really knocked it out of the park with the transmogs, mounts and pets this expansion.
I have more trouble understanding people who get upset because there is stuff in the game they dont have. Do you need everything right now?
Ive not long ago finished getting all the pets and mounts from Argus and Im still farming badges for the Moonsaber from the BFA battlefronts. Does it lessen my enjoyment knowing that everybody else got this stuff way before me??

Does not work that way as there are seperate art and dev teams.
Heâs just doing fancy maths, where 1 = 2.5

No we wonât. But itâs a balance of resources. There is clearly too many resources being put into the art team, than there is being put into the development team.
Whilst I appreciate great art = great marketing = more players. A great and indulgent game = good player retention.
I am a collector and want âall the mountsâ. However people are comparing it with the mount collecting in SL which was very different. There were always people around to kill the rares dropping mounts (and those that werenât). It was often a problem trying to get there in time before the rare was dead.
That doesnât happen in DF. A rare appears, I race there to kill it. Itâs way above anything I could solo so I wait and wait and wait and no-one comes until eventually it despawns.

people donât have any reason to do outdoor content in df unless theyâre a collector so they donât do rares while theyâre doing other stuff out there. also the lockout changes in the beginning of this season was the final nail in the coffin
We need everything to be more like Korthia and tbf they dropped lots of cosmetics so it appealed to a lot of people. This time next to none of the rares drop anything to collect.
