Is there a way to track achievements in-game for a specific character?
I’m reaching out with a bit of frustration, hoping for a solution. I enjoy playing alts and consider myself a bit of a completionist. This means I like to re-do or re-earn achievements I’ve already completed on other characters. To my knowledge, tracking achievements on a per-character basis has never been straightforward.
In the past, I could at least rely on some in-game feedback when re-completing account-wide achievements. For example, re-doing all the quests in Eastern Plaguelands would still give me the satisfying “ding” and a chat message when hitting the goal. Additionally, the achievement would appear in the “recent achievements” feed for that character, showcasing the last few achievements earned.
However, since the introduction of Warbands, this no longer seems to work the same way. I find this change frustrating. Just because I’ve earned an achievement once doesn’t mean I’m not interested in earning it again on another character.
Previously, there was also an option in the interface settings to display only character-specific achievements to other players. By using the Armory on the WoW website, it was somewhat possible to track achievements for a specific character. But again, this functionality seems to be missing now.
So, my question is: Is there currently a way to track achievements for a specific character in-game?
If not, Blizzard, could you consider adding a toggle or an option to enable this functionality? I’m sure other completionists and alt enthusiasts would appreciate it as much as I would.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
