It’s been how many years by now that you don’t announce it properly?
Like, there’s no warning in-game, there’s no warning on the b.net client. It’s just suddenly “YEP, SERVER IS SHUTTING DOWN NOW, GOOD LUCK GUYS”.

its obviously to fix bugs from the major patch yday. i know its abit annoying but still. they have to fix bugs somehow, and it cant be more lowkey then doing it at 3 am on a weekday. 90% of players are not online.

They should be announcing that there’s going to be a maintenance well ahead of it happening. Not just suddenly “YEP, SERVER IS SHUTTING DOWN NOW, GOOD LUCK GUYS”.

It’s not about fixing bugs, everyone is fine with that. It’s about announcing the maintenance. It’s not hard to announce it around (preferably before) midnight. Takes legit less than a minute.
I planned to have a night raid today, now I can’t.

its because it wasnt planned. they dont plan on having bugs.
but ye i agree if they know in advance that they need a shutdown they should give us timers. but i dont think that they do in this case.

Everyone on the team has like 20+ years of experience. They know they will have bugs, we know they will have bugs, my grandma knows they will have bugs. There is literally no experience nor super-powers needed in order to announce a maintenance right in time, which is around midnight. They didn’t randomly check the clock and were like: “Oh? Is almost 3 am? Let’s do a maintenance for the lulz, shall we?”
This is not how they work…
i dont wanna act like some giga brown nose, but to be fair the forum is filled with “OMG this quest is bugged?!” and now they fix it by taking servers down ( cant be hotifxed )
ye is what it is, its obviously annoying also for me, but i dont think the servers will be down for long.
They literally do the same thing with the States 8 hours or so in advance. They know its coming for the EU off the back of that.
I luckily didn’t go into another key I was invited in. If I was those people who went on I would have been p**sed haha

Nothing on mine. Never is when there’s maintenance, for years.
They really should just make it a pop-up window in the game where it says there’s going to be maintenance, when it’s announced and when people log in and so forth since they can’t seem to ever get the b.net launcher to work with warnings about it.

did they forget to add lavaburst dmg to resto shaman yday lol. after it got up again my lavaburst does way more dmg and i didnt feel it yday.
