Can you add SOLO Quee For M+ please

M+ is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too granular for this to work. It will just be a situation of never ending queues for anything that is not +11, +16 or 20+

That’s why I said I’d do it for money.

I usually only do low-mid keys and invite anyone. There is almost always drama.

its only boosting in the m+ 20 anyway lol

Real money trades

I meant in game gold. Sometimes you get a fat sack with 1k gold in it for using LFD as tank or healer. If they did this in a hypothetical m+ LFD and it paid a decent amount of gold, I’d do it.

They will boost in wow till the day wow dies and after that too.

For real money.

I think its a solid idea to stop key downgrades and leaves to add a rating system instead and if a person leave the rating is unchanged but that persons rating is downgraded

Might be a reason for that. Low ilvl or rating?

I think a better alternative would be to change heroic dungeons or add some sort of ā€œmythicā€ upgrade on the dungeon finder system with a minimum ilvl of 420, so they become as difficult as +11 mythic and their sole purpose is to give casuals a way to farm wyrm fragments to upgrade their gear they got from timewalking weeklies or normal mode raids for example. This would be amazing imo for the game as a whole. Aspect crests should remain gated behind +16 in LFG, but I think if you farm your way to ilvl 437, you will not have much trouble finding groups.

wouldnt work .

reason is simple- regardless how people make fun of +11 when nobody knows mechancis its impossible to complete it.

no good sane tank or healer would ever que for such clownfiesta - we have enough clowns in nomal lfg already .

What a bunch of crap. Anyone with 420 ilvl can learn to complete a +11, and if you have a little overtime, just take the +5 and queue next. Majority of people are good enough for +11, if they have 420 ilvl. Sure, you will have some people, who don’t now it, but you will also have people in there, who do +20ies, so it’s gonna be a good experience overall I believe. Also, people would definitely queue as tanks or healers to skip queue, because they would probably just be doing the content to farm crests anyway.

in general i hope they add it its boring content they put out i dont really care for group play.

we will have to see

All the arguments here against solo queue for M+ were given before against solo queue for arenas. People thought it would not work out - and it did work out!

The only reason I don’t play PvE is LFG system.

Healers and tanks shortage is real, but it’s the same in LFG, you just don’t have queue timer. If anything, it will be easier to get group, as no one will decline you as your spec is not meta.

The question is why i as a healer would ever use a random queue over LFG where i have way more influence on the group composition. Like you said; in LFG there is already a shortage. In a queued version there will be ā€˜no’ healer available at all.

I’m a healer too, pvp one, and arguments are the same there.

But answer is:

  1. Organized groups often want to use voice/other interactions, which I don’t care about
  2. It’s more fun! You sometimes have to heal odd comps. That’s the part of the fun!

Remember that ā€œSoloā€ has a separate ranking from organized groups, so everyone is competing with the same terms.

Did it, really?

I’ve been queuing as retri for solo shuffle and I’ve not had the queue pop in over an hour and then I log off. I’ve been queuing on 3 separate days this week and I’ve played one game of solo shuffle as retri because I just log off after more than an hour in queue, lol.

LFG is not organised anyway. I don’t think i ever had voice on a pug-run.
And it definitely is not fun having no other dispellers or cc’ers on specific affix weeks. I don’t go for meta, so i have odd groups anyway. But you want to have some sort of things covered in your groups.

False and pretty much anyone doing pug keys can confirm that pretty much no one expect voice.

This is nothing but your personal opinion, i like to play with varied groups yes, but i like said groups to still make sense.

As I already mention, my usual M+ routine:

  1. Open Group Finder → Dungeons → Set up some filters
  2. Click on first 5 groups
  3. Wait
  4. Some group declined, delisted or full → click next group
  5. Refresh the list
  6. Rinse and repeat for 5-10 minutes and I’m invited

I could definitely use something which will automate this and I could do something else while waiting. Unfortunately, Blizz restricted API so much, that addons can’t do that. And clickers are bannable I suppose, don’t want to risk it. M+ Solo Queue could definitely solve my issue.

And there is also some problems with filtering. Since Blizz do not allow addons to get a group name anymore, it’s not possible to set up filter like ā€œany dungeon 20+ and HOI 17+ or moreā€. Or more generic ā€œAnything which will give me pointsā€, for example.

I would say quality of life in M+ pug search is very poor from Blizz side and should not be tolerated in 2023.

If they add a soloqueue for m+, it should just be for thresholds, where people farm crests. After +17/16 people should be using LFG or friends
