Can you be an undead Kul Tiran?

I had this idea of being an undead Tidesage, played with a Forsaken frostmage, trying to find her place in this new world and still having her faith. But then I wondered if there were any being raised during bfa or if there is any way a Kul Tiran can have been raised til undeath?

Absolutely, I don’t see why not. Since…

spoiler We see two Kul’Tirans being raised from the dead in the Horde campaign.

If you so wanted, you could be an undead Kul Tiran that has been with the Forsaken since they broke free from the Scourge - Kul Tirans fought and died as part of the Alliance effort to curtail the Scourging of Lordaeron.

As the gentlewolf above me said, we see several Kul Tirans raised in the Horde campaign, but we also know the Horde invaded Kul Tiras itself and brought with them the means to raise new undead. Their ā€œchiefā€ invasion was initially in Stormsong Valley, where most of the Tidesages are.

So yes, you could have been killed and raised there. Or you could have been killed and raised as part of the Alliance’s war effort elsewhere after Kul Tiras rejoined the Alliance.

I have an undead Kul Tiran pirate and ye be havin’ me approval. Generally speaking I imagine there’ll be undead from every human kingdom in the Eastern Kingdoms, and of course Kul Tiras was invaded. Go for it!

I think there are no mortal species immune to necromancy, only the plague of undeath. So once you die, you can be raised. Though I’m sure most if this will be heavily retconned in Shadowlands. I mean erhh… Put into perspective, yes.

Cheers thanks for all the answers!

I did not know this, that opens up more alternatives, thank you

They are humans too so why not.

Wouldn’t it just be classed as an abomination due to the size and mass of the undead?

I don’t think I follow? If you mean the huge sized Kul Tiran, there are ā€œregularā€ sized Kul Tiran as well

Well Kultiran ā€˜race’ in WoW creator are the huge ones so I am refuring to those even if they just humans and have those kinny ones as well

Yeah, you can, in fact, Goldsail here is an undead Kul Tiran which was a former Irontide Raider!

Ah okay, well this one would have been the size as the regular playable humans, Kul Tirans even have three sizes among their NPC’s

That’s a nice concept! Pirate in life, pirate in undeath :smirk:

Worgens can only be raised via becoming a death knight.

Unless they were never a worgen but just a Gilnean.
The worgen curse saves them which is quite epic imo.

Undead Kul Tiran is a very cool concept I must add. Seen both Undead Pirate/Sailor and Undead Tidesage (As in RP chars of theirs) done quite well.

Goldsail above me is a prime example.

I specifically said Worgens, didn’t mention nationality =p

They cant be ressed by Valkyr, and certainly no necromancer can raise them, only death knights, but if memory serves, even then they are hard to raise due to not only being blessed by Elune, but also the blessing of the wild god Goldrinn.

Avoid undeath, drink Worgen Wineā„¢ today.

Worgen Wineā„¢. Not suitable for vegans.
