So can you travel with another alliance race for example gnome to human starting area and start questing from there, just like people do in retail? Has anyone done that already or is it important to do quests in your own area for some reason?
You can quest wherever you want
But you get reputation with you faction and at honored level you get 10% vendor discount, including mounts. So id not advise to skip your native leveling zone.
Yes you can, plenty of people rolling night elves make the journey to human/dwarf/gnome start areas because they’re otherwise isolated.
Only thing is that human start area is really busy atm so I would stick to teldrassil if night elf.
So then why i dont see any gnoams and night elfs in elvyn and shire human questing areas? And how long does it take to run from gnome lands to stormwind in classic?
You should see some. It’s generally not a smart decision so maybe you’re on a 5head server
Not that long really. Deeprun Tram is there already, so it is basically going to Iron forge, get on the tram and travel from Stormwind City to northshire abby
I’ve seen a few humans and a gnome in teldrassil today so I imagine more are going the other way as well. It won’t be lots and lots of people because of the effort involved and the fact that you need to know how to make the journey in the first place. But yeah people are doing it.
I explore for xp, thus I show up in Teldrassil and in the gnome aea. Going into Westfall below lvl 13 is painful!
