Again, why would I play only part of the game? I enjoy a little danger in the world, the possibility of encountering an enemy player and having a brawl. I think that before Phase 2 the level of world pvp was acceptable, sure you had the occasional as*hole that camped low level players in STV but it was manageable.

And yeah, being in a party/raid and killing a player that is solo should give you a dishonorable kill.

You can turn on pvp in pve so that people who want to kill you can kill you.

I genuinely doubt that, although it might mitigate a bit. From what I see, the vast majority of servers has a skewed population in favor of the Horde. Queues will be looooong for Horde regardless of xrealm. In order to outrank the competition, pvp groups will go hunt outdoors again while in queue.

That’s the issue…
They allowed too much faction imbalance… and now most of the realms are suffering due to it.
World PvP is fun, fighting 1v40 in every zone, is not fun however.
Camping every zone/FP is not fun, it’s fun for the winning faction… not any fun for the losing side.
All it does is make people quit / reroll to PvE realm/ roll bigger faction.
Then you’ll wonder why you can’t encounter any enemy faction / why there’s so much more of one faction as opposed to the other faction… which is what happened to several realms on retail.

PVE sounds like the best solution for these who whine, blizzard should implement transfers already. You can still world pvp in pve the difference is that lowbies that dont wanna pvp dont flag themselves for pvp and avoid getting ganked that way. If you still want the danger of wpvp then just flag yourself for pvp? Sounds more like people are pissed that they chose the faction that are overrun and can’t easily farm honor from lowbies like the others.

Imagine the following scenario: you are on a PVE realm and you level with PVP flag on, an enemy player comes up to you, he has the PVP flag off … cool … you start attacking a mob, when you are low on hp/mana the enemy player switches PVP on and attacks you … great.
Fair enough, that can be easily fixed though but it’s apparently not available.
I dont mind people complaining about faction imbalance because it’s true, every EU realm is sadly horde dominated to the point not even realm migrations can fix this because migrating would just be additive to the imbalance.
I dont mind faction queues and I dont mind faction transfers either as long as they are constrained and limited, the problem is that shamans can’t transfer nor can paladins. I wouldnt say this is an easy problem to fix and I wouldnt blame it on lack of servers either. The misplay by blizzard was to not implement faction queues from the start…
faction queues will come in phase 3. blizzard is just delaying the inevitable by not implementing them now
I estimate that bg’s, or at least one, will be introduced in max 2 weeks if not sooner.

A dishonorable kill is a LOT worse than losing 50 honorable kills, 50 honorable kills is just a drop in the bucket when it comes to ranking. A DK when you have started ranking can set you back weeks.

Whatever it is, it does not seem to stop 60s to gank players lower than 50.
I find this funny, people said that when HKs started people would fight fair and I and many others said they won’t. Ganking is still world PvP, and since the OP wants to play on a PvP realm they should carry on playing instead of chickening out for the authentic experience.
