You just have to quit playing your high level characters till p3 hits. This phase isnt meant to be played as 48-59 lvl.
I have leveled two characters Druid and Hunter. Made them ready for p2. With druid I have all gear sets I have needed for p2, all trinkets, with hunter engineering etc. I was looking forward for world pvp. Then I realize that times when in Vanilla we have been enjoying small scale 1v1 1v2-3 most of the time + occasional city raids or taren mill raid vs raid, in classic it is raid vs 1 where ever you go. You land in lightshole chapel and die before you are off the fly on your screen.
If you happen to find 1v1 before fight ends it turn out to be 1v5 or 2v7. Im not enjoying this phase at all since there is no pvp. Its just mindless honor farm with bunch of tryhards forming groups zerging crap out of everytthing everywhere.
The biggiest issue is Blizz is listening to streamers and tryhards and pushing the content. I still had plenty of things on both of my characters. Now they released p2 because wannabe pvp players wanted to play pvp - like there was no pvp in p1…
Soon they will release p3, I bet before christmass if not by the end of this motnh even.
After few weeks bunch of tryhards who realize there is no way they will all get to r13-14 they will be crying for another phases and by the half of next year Naxx will be released. Streamers and tryhards will leave the game anyway.
Blizz listen more this scrubs. I thought you reincarnated vanilla for old vanilla players, but it seems that it was for bunch of streamers and their tryhard kidclubs.
Yea, I canceled my subscription too. However, I had fun last 3 months leveling and gearing up my chars. Enjoyed first few raids too and since I have cleared naxx back in vanilla times and achiever r12 I’m not forced to do that again. I only hope for the rest of people playing classic that Blizz will listen less to streamers and tryhards.
I agree. Progression is too fast and I’m not talking about my play style or speed (by the way I’m lvl 30 on this char and forum still says I’m lvl 15 lol and I have a lvl 31 Warlock aswell but I started Classic not long ago not at Launch) there are some ppl who are bored already, and some who are not happy with fast phase progression. It won’t affect me much since I play solo on PvE.
You can still level some more and gear up some more if you make alts to lvl and to do dungeons and raids untill BGs come out on PvE then you don’t get ganked and can enjoy PvP when this current situation cools down a bit.
The main problem is that ppl whine and refuse to adapt to this situation that was a logical outcome in the first place (one of the reasons I rolled on PvE in the first place after many years of PvP back in Vanilla I knew that what can happen on a PvP server will happen on a PvP server).
Are you on drugs…no your on a sever full of your own faction…if you cant do anything or go anywhere without dieing 20 times it can be slightly frustrating.
What a boon
Yes it is, and that’s why I picked a PvE server. A lot of people would’ve been better off doing the same. I literally can do everything you do except I’m alive^^

Everyone is affected, not just alliance. Just today ive died like 40 times due to gankers and pvpers.
Right NOW i’ve died a dozen times from Morgan’s Vigil to BRM. Just now. What you affected for? (ofc not on rogue, on warrior).
Playing on a PvE server this time around and it’s got everything I want. I was never keen on single player (or small scale) world PvP.
If I wanna world PvP I fly to Tarren’s Mill and join the raid, if I wanna quest or do dungeons PvP is off and I can do that.
If you want to play on a PvP server it’s usually one of three reasons:
a) You want to gank people
b) You want to be ganked
c) You’re clueless
Because besides unfair ganks everything else is available on a PvE server too.
The only thing that has changed when compared to vanilla is the community. And that is not blizzard’s fault.
It’s good to see intelligent post like yours every once in a while, I wish if they could undersand!
Also, servers are much, much bigger. You have over 10 000 people on a server while vanilla used to house 2000-3000. The world is too small for that.
That part is 100% Blizzard’s fault.
No that is players fault too cuz of whiners crying before Classic Launch about “dead servers”.
You can literally turn PvP on and off on a PvE server. Just keep it on and if you happen to encounter 100 hordes every 2 minutes turn it off. They will kill you once but you have your peace until they are gone.
You are just looking for excuses.
How dumb you must be to wrote this post. It is not Blizz fault that you are ganked by horde, it is your fault you did not roll on PVE server. If you cant handle PVP situations do not play on PVP server. These people which post these topics everyday are just totally braindead.
Game will be better without players like you for others who enjoy game . . .
I don’t mind being killed/ganked every now and then, idiot. That’s what I enjoyed with PvPing back in the day. There was an element of danger.
Today; however, the servers are 5 times bigger than they were back in 2004-2006, so we have at least 5 times as many sweaty, zerging nerds ganking everything in sight around the clock, because that’s the retail mentality. Bored kids ruining everyone’s fun.
Game will be better without players like you for others who enjoy game . . .
Sure, buddy. That’s what we’re doing. We’re leaving the game for zergtards like yourself, so you can spend most of your day online looking for that one, single Alliance player on your realm and gank him until he logs off.
For this i can see example in evolution. Species which are not able to adapt to new situations will extinct. You became one of them. It is sad story for you but it is what it is . . .
I guess I did become one of the “extinct ones”! Who knows, I might return as Horde in a couple of months. But for now, nah.
It was like this back in the good old days though. This is nothing new. I started in 2005 and I remember getting ganked stupid in Stranglethorn Vale. Got ganked and corpse camped for an entire day by one guy who was level 60 when I was only level 32. Literally a whole day. An entire Saturday I couldn’t level at all.
Thousand Needles in Dustwallow Marsh, nonstop ganking and corpse camping there too. Took me an entire weekend just to finish that zone which only has 4 or 5 quests in it.
I gave up on Tanaris. For a whole week I could barely get 10 feet out of Gadgetzan without getting ganked and corpse camped. Eventually gave up on questing in that entire zone and just did the dungeon there a few times.
Un’Goro was a nightmare, same ganking and corpse camping.
This was the reality of PvP servers. It was always this way. If you had an easier time back in the day you probably levelled during Burning Crusade when everybody else was in Outland (which was also a nightmare campfest).
It wasn’t like this, because we didn’t have 40-man raids of geared 60s corpse camping level 30s all day, every day. It just wasn’t so. Servers weren’t large enough to have enough people to do that all day, every day.
Tell me who has control over server caps? Is it the players? I mean it must be the players since the caps are their fault… Hmm, help me figure this out…
Sure, but you as the superior specimen have to eat something. Without this guy you will have nothing to feed on. You do understand that right?
The game is unplayable for Alliance now. We picked PvP servers because we wanted PvP. I always only played pvp (tbc and wotlk), arena and bgs only. So yeah, I like pvp.
But when I was creating the char I didnt know there will be 80 % horde and 20 % alliance. I just wanted to do some pvp. But what I am getting is being killed by groups of 20-30 people. Yes, we group as well. We make a group of 3 people and when we are lucky we have one fair fight and then the whole raid comes (that raid was in the zone already, just somewhere else). So yeah. Dying to 30 people is no pvp and its not what I signed for when I created the Alliance char. And I also didnt sign for overpopulated servers like the way they are now. Of course the game breaks when there is 10500 Hordes and 2000 Alliance.
And its really funny how only Hordes and people that play on balanced servers are the ones who are saying this is the way it is supposed to be and that the game is great and that the whiners should quit. Go play on Stonespine as Alliance and you will see. I think we all know that you wont do that.
I always thought that the world pvp was supposed to be happening sporadically. Not entire raids roaming the world killing everyone. I cant even imagine what leveling now has to be like.

Srsly, this you call pvp? You could as well be killing boars or deers in elvynn forest and they would do the same damage to you when you have 30 people behind you. This is not how the game was meant to be.
I could as well just go play league of legends again if I wanted this c*ncer in my life…
That comeback alone deserves an upvote!
