Blizzard, please, never ever do Blacklisting approach on trying to defeat adversaries that are DDoS-ing you. It looks like your Security Engineers blacklisted whole IP ranges, that is why we (normal people) cannot play now. Who does that? If you are facing BotNet attack, check your Network IDS for the IPs and blacklist just those, not the entire range… also even blacklisting those public IPs is not a good way, since many domains share same public IP if they websites are hosted on a public cloud provider - which hackers usually like to use, to hide their origins.
I suggest that you tackle this issues with DDoS protection modules or by limiting the bandwidth to your open services.

Hello. Also ISP provider Telekom Slovenija is blocked unfortunately… We have to connect with mobile data to access the Battle Net.

Fixed, works now
I myself have jumped through all the hoops to try and fix things with no luck.
In a ticket I was told in the meantime to try a VPN…which to me is a lame excuse and not a fix but I managed to find one that doesn’t require a credit card to sign up so you can start a free trial, I’ve managed to connect to a EU server and am now playing again.
For anyone desperate and feeling ignored like myself, try CyberGhost…this isn’t a fix!.. And I don’t feel good doing it but until Blizzard acknowledges it’s customers all we can do is try to help eachother.

■ Date/time you first experienced the issue : yesterday couldn’t access character selection. got fixed after the linux fix.
Today, with vpn: cannot even access the forums. without vpn on computer can access forums. (on phone with vpn can access forums). battle.net doesn’t connect with or without vpn.

edit: after some fixes to the vpn I am able to access the forums from time to time from my desktop. I was able to access the game without vpn as of last night. (with vpn still doesn’t work)

Still can’t log in from Sofia, Bulgaria (4th day), Evronet is the ISP.
Randomly started working for me without VPN (Japan)
I am just saying … its easy to blame blizzard when it might not even be them.
as an example if a whole country is blocked because of DDOS atacks they would do it the same way i secured my internet and just use an GeoIP filter and everyone from that country would have been blocked …
But just one isp … i dont think they have a list of all Ip’s that 1 ISP uses … and when its several countries but not everyone … i am skeptical …
I have seen someone else from norway reporting the same issue like they from turkey but i am from norway too different isp … no issues here …
Just makes no sense blizzard is blocking individual ISP …
Would could have happen is though or possible that they can see what ips are attacking them and they block them.
That means that several people can be blocked or a whole ISP if the isp uses IP sharing for there customers in order to save up on IP addresses they own … those users normally cant port forward to there own house normally though …
Beside that those user could have had viruses that made there pc into zombie machines that they blocked … but then again … the user needs to secure there pc …
Beside that most people i see seem to have issues with there own internet connection and people also mix different internet issues into one post and dont do what Blizzard is asking them … posting there own IP addresses … something that is quite unhelpful information for anyone … on top of that … users should see if they cant even run a trace route outside there router and should try to find help about whats going on there too …
In the end i feel post like this here are pointless … most people dont post helpfull information but blame blizzard and make no attempt to even find if the issue could be on there end or between them.
Also to complain to the forums … there seem to be no moderators looking at post … sorting out info and keeping order to the chaos in the forums here ( to actually criticize blizzard here a bit too ) i often see them asking do x and then they never ever seem to reply again here

My problem just fixed today. Thx blizz 
Took a break from the game and uninstalled it, and now i can’t install the agent anymore. Seems to be the same error (404 error on the eu patch server)

I had to restart my router, and the problem came back, but at least I can login here, anyone else having the same issues again?
