The problem lies within the certain restrictions Blizzard imposes on certain ISPs or countries since the attacks have started.

Probably nothing on individual basis, when they have taken some precautions against the attacks, something went wrong with certain countries’ connections.

That probably is the case, but there has been countless reports regarding this, they should really take action to resolve this, its really getting frustrating to see that DDOS are gone but we’re still not able to login to nothing battle.net related.

I dont know how you can think that …

I am sure someone will be casualties of DDOS blocks … but i see allot of people that dont even get close to blizzard servers or even worse there own logs where they dont get out of there own router from there own router … something that makes me skeptical …

Just because some people have a similar issue does not mean they have the same issue.

When people also can do a tracerout 4-5 jumps but never leave there country i dont think its blizzards fault because they for sure cant control the internet outsite of there own network…

Here it might be ISPs controlling connection points actually doing the blocks and not blizzard

Well I would buy that if actually there weren’t quite distinct countries ranging from UK to Taiwan affected by that problem.

That’s of course not Blizzard controlling the Internet ‘outside’, it must be some sort of so-called ‘emergency precaution’ or ‘short-term remedy’ to deal with the attack. It could be either imposing restrictions on the incoming connections or some sort of barriers for the incoming traffic.

It is weird because people in Turkey or other countries using different ISPs had absolutely no trouble before yesterday. Even at the peak of DDoS attacks, many people had no problem. The problems have started after some precautions or measures were implemented to be honest.

Enough… This is not acceptable its been 3 days yet no useful information given to us. I am from Turkey and the money we pay you monthly is a big amount for people in turkey. So exchange of that money i expect a good costumer service. You guys failed at that big time. Give us information so people don’t wait like an idiot in front of their computers for hours/days. And i want to know why only certain countries affected by this? I did not see anyone from UK , Germany or Sweden here that complaining about this issue. Just us lowly peasants… Kudos to security team as well!!!

Don’t want to jump on the band wagon of frustration but a simple social media update would save all the worry and tickets being opened.

As a player ‘returning’ to the game it’s been far from enjoyable having to do all the footwork and see no progress towards a fix.

yes, because if i use a vpn I can login, but my vpn connection is pretty bad so it is still unplayable <.<
