Cannot pick up quest

I’m trying to start the absent minded prospector quest line. It starts in Darnassus with a dwarf by the temple but he wont interact with me.

Any help?

I might remember wrong, but I think that quest chain starts in Auberdine?

Or did you already do some parts of it and are now stuck on the follow up quest, or?
