Can't complete quest

I am on the quest The Lost Glacier which is at the end of a VERY long chain to get the DK Legion class mount. I am at stage 3: Essence of the Red which requires me to kill a bunch of mobs. However, I somehow got to the mobs and killed them before triggering stage 3 (I rode over the ocean using Path of Frost) and they will not respawn for me to kill them. I have tried committing suicide via fatigue, and hearthing to orgrimmar and flying back. The quest has no option to abandon.

I can’t figure out how to fix the quest myself and I also can’t figure out how to open a support ticket with the new interface. How can I get help with this?

This is the character that is stuck on the quest. Obviously not my rogue because its the DK quest!

Note that there are plenty of feral ghouls that do respawn, but don’t count for the quest.

I logged out for a longer period of time while I emptied and restacked my dishwasher and this time the mobs did respawn. Weirdly though when I logged back in I appeared high above where I was and died to fall damage. Nevertheless I was able to res and complete the quest.
