Can't create a Horde character

I don’t mind the faction balancing thing. That’s fine. What’s not fine is me having to rush through character creation in order to secure a spot. I just had that happen to me. I waited for over and hour refreshing the character creation UI, then I started making my Undead Mage. I couldn’t have spent more than a minute, but by the time I finished making the character Horde was locked again.

I’m not about to play Alliance as I really hate gnomes, so… Very cool. Even after waiting this long to create a char I still can’t play with my friends.

Maybe you could create a placeholder character and then once your spot is safe you could create your character in peace and without any rush.

But ofc you could also do
