Can't decide which region to play classic in

Off topic, but how is Mograine?

Like faction wise?

Yeah, just in general. Community wise, faction wise, streamer wise etc. Vague question I know heh.

Streamer wise I’m not sure if he is still on mograine, but jokerd the first guy to hit 60 in classic was on our server, but with that I’ve never seen the typical twitch chat crap in channels so it’s pretty clean there.

Community wise I think it’s alright kind of hard to tell because with pugs a person can go from nice to rude after a wipe or two, but I’ve met some good people and bad people. Not sure if you’re on the reddit or not but that picture of a druid telling a story in ironforge was on the mograine server and I would know that because I was actually in the picture lol.

Faction wise we aren’t bad. We definitely aren’t the majority as alliance anybody who says so is kidding themselves, but we are nowhere near as bad as other servers probably due to our name.

Overall I think it’s been pretty good.

Yep, I saw that pic. I’m trying to find a “home” server currently after giving up with Dragonfang being a wasteland. Maybe I’ll try out Mograine. Thanks.

I have played on the US servers for years and still would but I wanted to try the EU servers for once, least seriously. Plus all my US friends were rolling on PvP servers, and I would rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon than go there again.

When I first started there raids were at 2am my time, which was fine back then, but when I couldn’t do that any more I looked for a day time raiding guild and that fitted in with my hours perfectly.

I was playing, and still play, on anything between 90-120ms and it was perfectly fine, heck the Aussies used to raid with latency in excess of 350ms or more!

The US peeps were super nice its why I still play there even all these years later, or did until Classic. I think you should try it and see how it goes, if you don’t like it you can always come back least that’s what I’m doing with the EU servers.

There is a thing, if you want to have fun at events, you can do events!

Apes was keeping devilsaurs sheeped, because they got an idea and made it real.

On private server we were RPing and PvPing in IF as horde, because we wanted to have fun and it was very boring time since people left to wait for classic. And we suddenly met the best ally guild on their way, full buffed etc. They destroyed us, lol. But later some allies went to pvp with us, and we had 10vs10 around Kharanos.

Here, on Shazzrah, our guild does regular massive pvp-events: in SW, near BRM.
Every week there are pvp-tournaments by Turfx.
Opposite faction likes to mc officers or streamers for a hour before raid (and guild needs to save them)
As I know, people ran gnome/orc races, MCed elite bosses and kept them all way to SW

Not only US Faerlina has entertainment.
Not server makes it, players make it

Yeah it’s hard to decide, I mean playing on the US server is fine in the short term, but in the long term there will be problems. I am leaning more to the EU as time passes, but I might get to 60 on the US server first and just see what happens. Curse Blizzard for seperating everything. No other game I’ve played has this issue. Thanks for the reply though, it has helped.

Mate, I would suggest that you should start on the EU immediately, because you did not even start yet, but the Phase 2 - the biggest PvP event ever, will be here soon, in a month or so.

US servers may attract you by number of big streamers and their events, but thats the only plus they offer to you. Because if you roll on US server, you will play at different time than the people there… that means u will have trouble getting groups for dungeons or with raid times.

Time zone alone is a dealbreaker for me.

Assuming you have a US account, have you asked about this on the US forums?

I did start on EU, I have a level 23 character on Shazzrah. That’s why I said i’m levelling up on both regions.

Did you end up deciding? I subbed my US wow again recently so I was just curious.

I’m still deciding, I think i’m going to get to 60 on both us and eu and see what happens. It may sound strange but it’s one of the hardest decisions i’ve had to make in a long time.
