Greetings. After doing quests in STV, i went in Badlands, Hinterlands, Feralas and Tanaris. ATM i am lvl47. But in every of that zone i had only first cca 10 quests and than nothing. Dont have quests in that zones. Am i doing something wrong? How to obtain quests?
Try Searing Gorge, Azshara or maybe Felwood.

Or download Questie addon. If you open the map, it will show every avaiable quest in your level range, which you didn’t do yet.

I classic you need to finish zones before moving on or this happens.
Did you do the dungeon quests for each zone? There’s also Swamp of Sorrows and Dustwallow marsh, not exactly 40 - 50 quests but they should be green and still reward xp.
If you don’t plan ahead it can really come back to bite you on the a** 45-50.
Running Zul’Farrak a few times and making sure that you do all the quests in there is probably a good idea.
Even if you dont have questie it’s probably a good idea to have a look at your future Leveling route.
You have Searing Gorge, Felwood etc coming up, but I’m guessing you’ll have a gap to close before that.
You should also try taking a quest in one zone that is actually completed in another. It may seem pointless to take a quest in Feralas that sends you to Hinterlands, but that quest may open up more quests, and you may find another quest that is completed in the same zone. Eventually you’ll learn which quests all over the world to take at certain points to get a good flow.
45 to 50 is a b*tch for Alliance because there’s just not enough quests in that range. Your best bet is to farm ZF till 50 and then go to Searing Gorge and then to Un’Goro. Hang in there because once you’re 50 there’s plenty of fresh content all the way to 60.
Have you been to Un’Goro? You’d probably be OK there at L47.
I guess it is easy to run out of quests in the mid 40s, in fact I think I had the same problem on my first character. Not now though, I have a meticulously worked out questing/levelling route that absolutely guarantees that I always have enough quests. It involves doing a lot of continent hopping, and often doing two equiv-level zones at the same time, for example Darkshore and Westfall; but it works.
Only dungeon quests + xp frim ZF should provide more than whole level, no idea what you are doin
You just hit the dead point. 45-50 everyone runs out of quests. You can get a few here and there, but mostly they will be too high lvl or at least require a group as many are elite quests. Just run some dungeon and grind. humanoids if you need to lvl tailoring or FA, beasts if you got skinning or just some random mobs that drops decent amount of vendor trash. At 50 you got LOADS of option open up.

I installed Questie addon, and it is fascinating how many quests i missed, for example, quest giver npc is behind building, in basement etc… i am completing Feralas, Tanaris and Hinterlands, lot of chain quests where are all three together, and lot of quest chain for later sunken temple… i am 49 atm, i plan to start Desolace and when i hit 50 Un Goro + farming ST and Maraudon, i believe i will get to 54-55 and than Felwood

I had a similar problem at lvl 50. I suggest you not to stick to one zone but rather quest in multiple zones.
No you don’t, and you can’t. You need to move to different zone’s based on your level.

Run ZF/farm mobs. If done correctly, even farming mobs is mostly faster leveling than questing.
Ok be pedantic, you need to do every quest you can in a zone, even if they are green. In fact especially if they are or you will end up like the OP and need to grind.
U definitely dont need to complete all quests, ofc it depends if u grind time to time or do dungeons, but even without them u dont have to do every zone 100% ( and mostly u cant even do all without coming later or so) im almost 49, still need to do ZF at least once for quest, hinterlands and feralas untouched… Skipped some quests cuz they arent worth the headache ( looking at you chicken escort) or time
I also abandoned chicken escort in Tanaris and Hinterlands
