I can log in to all of my characters except the one I want to play after the Mirage Raceway bugs a few hours ago. When I try to log into my shaman I just get a message “A character with that name already exists”. What is going on? Been trying on and on for about 2 hours now… This was the character I was on when the server started to lag but I did log it out normally before I got dc/server crashed.

Same issue here. When I /who for that character it also appears to still seem like its online, even though I am on another character on the same account.

also when I log in on an alt character on same server and search social it says my Main character is online
Same issue here. Can log every character. But character which was online during the crash…gives message "A character wth that name already excists

Mirage raceway same issue. Main character cannot log in error message “character with that name already exists”. Can log in on all other characters except the one I was online on during crash.
Getting the same issue with my priest. “A character with that name already exists”
I can login all other characters fine but not my Priest named Tarvi @Mirage Raceway.
Can you all create support tickets for this , I think it needs a server restart so it disconnects the affected characters.
Created a ticket for what its worth. Also added to the ticket that other users on the forum were having the same issue after the crash.

Same problem here. The support ticket system is not the best to navigate either, spent best part of an hour trying to report my issue with no result.

Same issue here, cant seem to find a way to submit a proper support ticket. Cant log onto character says name is already in use.
Go into the Support part of the menu on any character, and can get help; for any of your other toons. You might need to do as search at the top of the page…but there is a whole article with the “A character with that name already exists” bug…and possible solutions
If you have already tried all that… it signposts you where to submit your bug report.

same here. i logged of 12 hours ago and im not able to login to my paladin still.
Same issue. I get ‘A Character With That Name Already Exists’ when I try to log my Druid.
I can use my other chars, but as I barely play them, that’s pointless.
Can we get this fixed please?

also tried logging to other chars , was inactive for 5+ hours, reseting user interface, uninstall/installing the game. nothing worked so far.
also i can see my pala " tahrikmotoru" on when i type /who but when i try to use “character stuck” service, is says the char is offline.
Same issue here, submitted a support ticket but that went from 1h to 2hs to 14hs since yesterday.

Same issue. I can log all my alts in, but my main whom I quit the game with when the server lag started was on netherwing isle is still online in game somehow, I can even whisper myself from alts. I went there to check and I can’t see my actual character but according to the game it’s still online.
Opened a ticket but the wait time went from 2h last night to 14h this morning.
Glad I’m paying for a service here.
I have the same issue. “a character with that name already exists” for like 14 hours now.
Tried logging other characters and creating new ones on the same realm, nothing works. What on earth is going on with this server??!
