Can't log in to one of my characters after the Mirage Raceway crash

Yeah the service we pay for is a joke xD I gave up trying to make a ticket after an hour, for me it’s an alt but the one I want to play right now however… I really hope we don’t have to wait to get this fixed until server restart next week… Wake up Blizzard! Many seem to have the same issue, restart Mirage Raceway or whatever is needed to take the characters out of limbo xD

If Blizzard won’t do anything soon, do you guys think you can try and delete the character and then restore it? Feels like that could possibly help reset it xD But I have no idea.

U basically can not delete the character (tried it) because you are online

Thanks, this was something I wanted to try. I guess the same would apply if I’d try to get a paid namechange…

I actually paid 10 euros to change the name. It did not really work out. Still have the same name, can not log in and lost 10 euros. Transfer to another server also does not work

Please keep your tickets open. We’ll do our best to resolve the situation ASAP.

In the meantime, you might want to try resetting your interface as it sometimes gets corrupted after a server crash. It’s not a surefire solution, but it can help.

I also submitted a ticket but it’s 14 hours so far and in-game notification states average reply time is 13 days which is worrying since that’s a long time being unable to play that character.

Under which section of the wonderfull support screen you managed to open the ticket?
I got into several dead ends. Where none of the categories i want to put the ticket in does not actually lead to ticket submit.

Stuck character is what got me to submitting an actual ticket but it’s been 15 hours and still waiting on mine to be answered. Don’t hold your breath =)

This doesn’t solve the issue unfortunately. I managed to get a reply to my ticket in-game to which I got the useless reply of “please log fully out of the game” and “allow for 30 minutes of inactivity then log in again”. It’s been 16 hours of inactivity and safe to say the first optioned had been tried.

I ended up using the “Not listed here” option as no existing category reflected the issue. It’s also a server-side issue as I can log in with another character and /who the bugged character and they show as online, but with no Guild tag and do not show as online in the Guild. Likely needs a force disconnect from the server.

Yeah wanted to do this one aswell. But that leads me only to try following “mail was changed” cant get passed this.

GM responded and sorted the issue, so keep at it guys, they will fix it for you.

Hi everyone! I’m a totally patient person, but it’s getting absolute ridicolous. Top of that my billing day was yesterday… :smiley: Totally worth it. Private servers were almost better 10 years ago… I really have a small time to play, this is the only reason why I’m mad. But the most imprtant, online shopping is working…of course

How did you get a hold of the GM?

I have raised an in-game ticket under ‘account issues’

But no response as of yet.

First off I’m happy to see that Blizzard has been alerted to the issue. Current wait time for in game tickets is 3 days though… surely you can fix the problem faster than that? if not, I would hope some form of compensation would be given out as some of us only play the one character that is currently unplayable and we’re being told we can’t play it until tickets are resolved, which is 3 days? and it started yesterday, so 4 days technically.

We’re missing days of the pre-expansion event, not to mention vital time to prepare for WOTLK launch which we can’t get back.

I urge you to try and resolve this faster than 3 days.

Additionally - resetting the interface doesn’t work in this instance. I tried it 3 times and then went as far as completely reinstalling WOTLK Classic, it still changed nothing.

it doesnt work and neither does uninstalling and reinstalling option. also average ticket wait times are just keeps increasing and this is just getting a lil’frustrating.

Cant log. tried all above and no go. Waiting blizz to fix this asap.

Also managed to get away a ingame ticket finally, so hoping for this quote ASAP to be real. Still says about 16h estimated respond time right now…
