None of the above worked for me just to clarify. i hope this will help someone but im not gonna hold my breath.
I’ve got a funny feeling that they’re just going to delay helping people until the server restart next week. I hope that’s not the case, that would be incredibly shady.

All good fellas, I had a response saying they’d done some magic and I should be able to log into my character, only they didn’t actually read which character it was so booted the character I was talking to them from back to Stormwind.
send that magician to our direction too mate 
what i got for a response is above, even tho i gave all the information prior still got a generic reply.

This was my second response, my first response word for word was what you posted. Hopefully he can fix the character which actually has a fault, if he does I’ll let you guys know 
How on earth are some people getting tickets answered so quickly while others are having 3 day wait times? what section/options did you choose while submitting tickets?
Noone would be happier than me if someone could direct me to the correct section for this particular problem. I had to select something that has nothing to do with this since i couldnt find the relevant place to post my ticket…
I went to “In-game-issues” → “character problem” → “stuck character service” → “continue” and in there chose the character which then failed and then you could send a ticket.
Also got a reply after a few hours but it was the same generic and I also forgot to write the character name in the ticket xD so awaiting another answer atm.

i cant even log in on my dk name lapard a character with that name already exist i have tryed to contact blizz but still no response i want to play again on my dk i can play on my priest but nohting happens when i enter the world on lapard plz fix this crap because i’m frustrated
Go in game and make a ticket that way, then you’ll see the ‘In-game issues’ tab
when you guys gonna response and help us to get back into the world this is since yesterday do we pay for these services !!! i’m angry and frustrated its almost weekend and still nothing works i’m playing since 2004 and when i got troubles in the past there was a livechat now you guys dont answer at all since yesterday

This happened to me and many others on Pyrewood Village two weeks ago! I was unable to play for 5 days before a GM helped me, I had tried everything and got error messages from trying to unstuck character. I asked if I would get any compensation for this issue and got the most rude lengthy reply from a GM today saying that there were no issues with the servers and that I could have simply resolved my character stuck problem by using the unstuck character service on their website on my own. Like I had imagined this realm-wide problem and like I was dumb enough to not try to resolve it on my own… Thanks Blizzard, you really love and appreciate your customers. At least acknowledge the issues you are having in the forums instead of hiding them and gaslighting us.

The reason the “Character Stuck” service doesn’t work is because the character is still technically online. If you login any of your other characters, you can send a whisper to the character that you cannot login to, even characters on the same account.
Blizzard need to log these characters off as they do not appear to be auto-disconnecting after X time. I remember this happening on NA servers awhile back and it was fixed within 7 hours, its an absolute joke why its taking EUCS so long.
ASAP doesn’t really seem to mean the same thing for you at Blizzard. The GMs that have replied don’t seem to understand that this even is a server wide issue thanks to your servers failing last night. Just restart the damn thing so our characters logs out!
So this is evening 2 that we can’t play our characters now during a short one time event, the pre patch. I’m seriously questioning what we are paying for? Most companies strive to have good support and reputation, but this is pathetic.

I don’t even think the GMs understand that the characters are online still. That’s why when you try to use the Character Stuck feature it just goes “Oh there was an error! please submit a ticket!”
Because it clearly states on Character Stuck - Character MUST be offline when you use this feature - that’s why it doesn’t work.
Then what happens? generic response saying “Try resetting your interface” even though you clearly stated in the ticket that you’ve tried that.

cant log onto my druid either - same issue here - 3 day support time on tickets - how is that ok for a company of this size?!
