Ah, ok, that is of course entirely possible. Was just pointing it out to be sure, as it´s somewhat surprising to see just how many people don´t seem to know that option exists
Sometimes ISP like Orange, T-Mobile, etc. doesn’t use his own cables. Probrably you Orange uses Vectra’s.
I’m assuming you’ve put in a ticket, but while you’re waiting for a response, a couple of things you could try:
- Try switching realm and starting a new character there, see if you can log in. If you can, then switch back to one of those you were having issues with and retry.
- Try using the automated “unstick character” option in support for the character that triggered the issue.
- Try opening your battle.net launcher and then just leaving it open for some time - I’ve seen issues before being unable to log in, and it was down a patch being needed, that took a while for the launcher to “find” (although this is usually more an “incompatible” error).
- Try the repair game option in the launcher.
If none of that works, sounds like you might need a GM to give something a kick
Unfortunately, getting to submit a ticket is a bit of a time consuming and frustratingly difficult process - I’m assuming deliberately so - but it is possible through persistence. It’s also worth noting that, even when you submit a ticket, the first one (or even two) responses may be from a bot that doesn’t understand the issue and gives generic responses. Again, persistence here is the key.
EDIT - looks like there are a few others with the same issue … might be worth posting in that thread and trying to work out if there are any commonalities. I know one of our guild members had issues getting into the game for a while, and it turned out that his internet provider had blocked something that meant he was unable to access Blizzard servers.
Theirs seem to be account related … can you log into low (sub-level 20) characters?
It might be this issue that others are having?
this must be something with Blizzard network or security configuration not accepting some connections, considering them suspicious
or some very strange problem with Europe internet infrastructure
for instance I can play WOW on some realms , make another account and see, it will log you by default to some low pop server that works, but changing realm to some that do not work will cause login error
create another account and you will log to wow trial with no problem, to some low pop realm
it is just cutting us from realms like Stormscale
very selective problem
can ping and tracert wow servers with no problem
looks more like some security setting dropping connections than anything else
I have the same problem since Friday
how can it be so long with no Blizz reaction?
Its sunday.
Forum staff work office hours.
Only in-game GM’s work sundays, and they don’t post on the forums.
In-game GM’s are not very helpfull. They “have indeed received some report about this issue, and it is being looked into.” So, they know about the problem but the only help they can offer is some troubleshooting advices. Bump all posts about this. We should recieve some compensation.
Mam ten sam problem już chyba od 3-4 dni… Muszę cierpliwie czekać aż Blizzard to naprawi? Czy sam muszę jakoś działać co zrobić w takim przypadku?
nie trać czasu
to problem u Blizzarda, albo coś z infrastrukturą internetu w Europie
muszą to naprawić / coś zmienić
ty nic nie zrobisz , nikomu w vectra nie działa
Dziękuje bardzo
Was on before all seemed to be fine idk what if theres any issues.
also can login and play on another account on low population realm ?
Let’s bump the post.
First You will got nothing blizzard is not working like that forget it…
Second bots wont help u they are only there for copy paste saved notes they sending same bulls*it to everyone
After Activision take blizzard there is something very strange going on in this company its very sad
same here, Poland Vectra, temporary im using VPN and everything is working fine but it is not solution, they have to fix it
Same here Vectra Poland loading bar going full and nothing or “server is down” error. Connecting the internet from my phone via wifi and I managed to log in, but with the ping and lags it can’t be called playable. As usual, Blizzard shows how little respect they have for their players and community. A company that earns billions that can’t fix such a global problem for so long and people are wasting their subscription time. There is not even any official information about the problem or any response.
Same here… annoying bug
