I’m not a fan of the traitors either but I think Blizz would clearly like us to go this route. I’m still making my choices to side with the Dark Lady but there can only be one outcome regardless of how the playerbase chooses. The story has to end somewhere.
Come now, surely you haven’t forgotten how Sylvanas valued loyalty very little before she became Warchief. She plotted and schemed constantly behind Thrall and Garrosh’s backs and blatantly refused orders. The tactics we see now are Sylvanas and the Forsaken, not the Horde itself. Of course Baine (and the Tauren people as whole) would take a stand to this.
Because he values his Honor, whether you like that or not.
One clearly did something far worse than the other. but you’ll excuse Sylvanas right? That seems like your thing, considering your replies so far.
Nobody was facing extinction before Sylvanas came up with the brilliant idea to start a war when the planet was dying.
She want’s to kill and raise everyone. Her target is Stormwind, and she even says so in the book.
I’m not defending Sylvanas, she obviously did some pretty messed up stuff and is quite desperate to win the war.
Also Sylvanas openly states she doesn’t care for honor and such, while Saurfang and Baine use it as a shield whenever it suits them atm.
You want a truly honorable character in the horde? look at Thrall, Nazgrim, and the like.
Literally nobody wanted Nazgrim dead in Siege. I actually wanted him as Warchief.
I’m still angry they made him into a Death Knight instead of leaving him dead in Legion.
Stop I cri everytime I remember his story
But yeah, seeing him rise to being a Warchief would’ve been a hell of a character growth arc, and I don’t think anyone would be against him as Warchief.
He didn’t even agree with Garrosh, with the whole ‘‘Orcs only’’ stuff.
But, he valued his Oath (and Honor) to the Warchief too much, and thus died for it, and he doesn’t even blame you for it.
I want the Alliance to save him :c
Belves need definitely a chief. Lorthemar is useless cuz a regent is powerless.
He’s Regent, because there is nobody who has claim to the crown.
Rommath wants him to start a new Dynasty and become the new King, but Lor’themar refuses and will Honor Kael’thas wish of Anasterian being the last King of the High(Blood) elves.
yes i know. This is the problem. And there are no sunstrider spared… So we remain headless forever?
He is the head.
Just not the King, as there never will be any.
I think blood elves really need building up character wise, we need more relevant characters and named characters to interact with.
As a wow player only 4 characters I can even recall being somewhat relevant, them being Lorthemar, Rommath, Liadrin and the reliquary guy.
Valeera sanguinar.
This is the problem: belves received little love after TBC. having such an interesting race so badmanaged makes me sad.
The belves heritage armor quest was very good and i hope in the future we could have some important role in lore.
Horde side im sick and tired about forsakens with their depravity, goblin’s greed, orc’s honor… Now is the time for belves and tauren to grow up.
Yeah, Valeera’s a bit of an odd character. She is a Blood Elf but doesn’t really identify as such and neither is she firmly on the Alliance’s or Horde’s side, more in between.
After Voss and Rexxar choose to side with sylvana’s horde, she’s the only “indipendent” char horde side
Not to be ‘that guy’, but aren’t you all traitors regardless? Garrosh was the warchief in wartime and you acted treasonous against him.
What makes you different?
Has anyone mentioned yet that Sylvanas is a traiter as well, because she went against the direct orders of Garrosh by deploying the Blight multiple times, in Southshore and in Gilneas for example?
By the same standards, she should die as well.
Cant wait to hang you alongside Sylvanas!!
I would formally like to offer you Baine
He comes as a package deal though.
