When you start talking about IRL, you know you’re wrong.
Half of the horde leader are traitors. Afk emar, voljin, saurfang.
Ally too. Moira, genn…
A plethora of betrayers
Given the animation in the latest fmv with Baine and Sylvanas suggests Sylvies lower jaw is about to drop off maybe she’ll simply rot away and we’ll be done with her. Before she goes, hopefully she’ll tell Nathanbeard that the two 1h weps plus bow is a thing of the past.
So what?
« Oh tommy killed someone!
- but jimmy did too!
- I guess it’s okay then »
Baine did something that might cost a lot of horde lives. Doesn’t matter what sylvanas did, he’s responsable of his own actions as well.
Can’t defend Sylvanas if you’re using that logic though, as she has done the exact thing, but far worse.
And no, I highly doubt it’ll cost any Horde lives because Baine turned over Derek to Jaina…
Yup, they are.
How is Genn a traitor to the alliance? o.O
If you’re talking about pre-Cataclysm? Then no, he was never a traitor, as he simply left the alliance, which was within his right.
Anything that helps the alliance is against the horde.
It doesn’t matter what sylvanas did: baine did wrong to the horde.
He did, I’m not arguing that.
But you said he could’ve costed the Horde a lot of lives, when Sylvanas has literally killed plenty of our own because ‘‘hurr durr i r Warchief’’.
She is literally destroying to Horde, and if my characters could leave the Horde until she’s gone, I would in a heartbeat. I won’t play alliance.
This is still not a reason to ruin a strategy elaborated by your commander in chief. This will result in negative consequences which will cost horde lives.
They could have gone another way.
Doesn’t matter what she did, not because she’s watchief but because this is a discussion about baine’ not sylvanas.
Good you’re not going alliance, for the Horde.
In fact it was an alliance. When you left and build a wall you are "morally grey "
And they left it, which was within their very right to do.
Genn was/is a bum, no arguing that, but he didn’t betray them.
It’s funny and poetic that he think’s the horde betrayed the alliance at the broken shore when they did the exact same move he did to the Alliance, walk away.
In fairness Genn’s wall did save Gilneas from being overrun by the Scourge. They just ended up having to deal with the Worgen instead.
Well, he did it because his people died.
He was always a rude douche that cared only about himself and his people.
Then spill your own blood for betraying Garrosh, you swore blood oath to him.
Nazgrim took blood oath too, he took it seriously, he hated Garrosh but died fighting for him. Loyalty is a great virtue, blind loyalty is virtue of a dog.
I’ll stand by Baine no matter what, to be fair. If he is setting up a trap them, well…
Bring on World of Warcraft: Game of Thrones!
If he is innocent and just doing an honourable thing then I equally agree with him.
Only way I would disagree with his actions is if this whole exchange is just more bullcrap plot contrivance to have everything go well for the Alliance. Honestly, this better not be more stupid coincidences that ensures the Alliance never have any real uncountered struggles.
Like sylvanas…
She only care for herself…
He’s a coward and a traitor, he exiles some of his own people for defending themselves, he gives Anduin a piece of his horn as a token of their friendship, this character reeks of Christie Golden’s influence and he can go the way of Knakk’s two favourite characters.
