Casters doing the double or triple damage than mele, with mortal, free precog, 80% of spells instant, meles with kicks reduction, unkilleables, endless mobility, getting outheal by destro, sp and ele doing nothing, only as passive while pressing the space bar.
Game is completly done for meles. If you don’t remove precog atleast remove the 15% haste because makes no sense, see boomies casting clone in 0,3, chaos bols in 0,3, frostsballs in 0,2.
It’s definitely rough but tbh the screenshot you list nobody cast at all (except destru for bolt and even they don’t need to to kill) I don’t think precog for them is the main issue but it’s definitely cancer (especially boomy with fast clone already).
Precog isn’t the problem here - the nature of comps is. The second you put 2 wizards on a team and give them a single melee to train, they become annoying to deal with. This has been the case since at least WoTLK but probably earlier than that too. The way you play the game becomes stupid as hell and most of your gameplay will be standing behind a pillar waiting for cooldowns. It turns every melee into a sub rogue.
So your initial response to this might be ‘ok so lower wizard damage’ - but that only solves the problem in this scenario of wizard cleave vs wizard/melee. If that wizard queues up the next game and its now 1 wizard, 3 melee, they will get trained the entire round, every round, and do bottom or near bottom DPS, while having to exert triple the effort of any of the melee.
So ok, the solution is “don’t let two wizards or two melee be on the same team” - and yeah that would absolutely fix it, but it would also skyrocket queues well past what they already are.
This is a problem that, again, has been in the game pretty much since launch. If you are the one melee in the game with 3 wizards, prepare to play like a sub rogue and only leave pillar when you have your stun, a short defensive and some sort of burst cooldown.
If you are healing this one melee in the 3 wizard lobby, prepare to get down on your hands and knees and pray to every deity that they don’t play standard and try to facetank boomkin/destro for a minute+ at once.
I just finished a game that was ele/ele/boomkin + me (arms warrior) , resto sham, disc priest. I played like a sub rogue. I ran in on my mount, got dispelled on the earthgrab totem, nuked someone in stormbolt with skullsplitter, then when i got to half hp I leapt outta there. I ended up winning 4 rounds this way and had a 5th in the bag but my disc priest ran into the middle of the arena and got one tapped by lightning rod build ele shaman
I just tried playing shadow in a match where it was a havoc dh, unholy dk, assassination rogue and then mistweaver and resto shaman as healers.
When I finally got void eruption off, I won the round. The only round I lost was when they went for someone else than me and he died pretty much instantly, healer probably thought they would train me again.
I play in high rating, and I have seen good destro warlocks, doing 400k damage in 1.1 seconds with 3 chaos bolts cause of precog, even frost mages doing 3x frostballs 100k each in 1 second. I have screenshots xd
For pro players is a gift to have free precog because they are perma fake casting
This is what happens if you nerf all melees multiple times and meanwhile in the background buff casters over and over again during s1.
the s2 patchnotes were just the final nail in the coffin for casters to finally take over everything especially destro.
Just imagine this you have a port with freedom on a relatively short cd you have passive tankyness, amp curse of weakness to cut anyones damage by half for the entire arena, coil/sfury/fear/infernal to rotate around so you can give maximum aids to someone meanwhile you have a new honor talent which is flat out -25% on everything dmg/ms (thankfully most warlocks press that during their cc rotation and so said cc rotation takes 8 years anyway), you have dark pact on a 45 s cd which you can use in stun which is like literally half ur hp, you can wall in stun and get free aura mastery, healthstone which is like 0>100 nearly, instant damage with incinerate shadowburn and conflag which easily hits u for 60-100k regulary and then random portal/watcher damage which rips ur hp apart. ON TOP OF ALL THAT all of those abilites are on different spell schools so if you kick you lose and if you miss your kick ur just getting bootyblasted aswell. And if it so happens that the warlock has free seconds to cast then he is just gonna chaosbolt you aswell for 150k+ 2x times in a row.
Warlock is just the most braindead monkey ape specc which exists right now and id argue even fury takes more skill rn
MELEE NEED A FAT NERF. Like, legit, they need to remove like half of their movement abilities and strip like 75% of their stuns. I spend more time in stuns/not being able to cast due than I actually play the game to the amount of interrupts and stuns coupled with melee mobility. This is Overwatch 1 all over again as a tank.
Also tanks in ow1 were the most broken role ow had. Everything in ow1 was about tank synergy. And unironically tanks had the most cc in the game besides maybe doomfist or ana. Tanks were the best role and everyone universally agreed with that at high rank.
Or they could just make pvp actually enjoyable. Make CCs not spammable and make people actually have to think when to use them rather than this whole spamming them on people.

Tried to cast again - gouged.
Tried to cast again - blinded.
Tried to cast again - blinding sleet.
Tried to cast again - gripped again.
THEY WEREN’T EVEN TRYING TO INTERRUPT, THEY WERE JUST STOPPING THE CASTS BY JUST SPAMMING ME WITH THAT STUFF. It shouldn’t be possible to just spam that stuff at people to shut them down, it’s dumb as hell and not fun at all.
