When mythic (pve) raiders will be spamming normal raids come back to prove your point.
I dont care? Ill probably counter it big time with vers gear and arena gear. Bgs never will be about skills. Rarely any 1v1 2v2 or 3v3 in there. Its either 1 vs 4 or 2 vs 5.
? Do you even read posts? Normal raids dont reward mythic loot, same as random bgs dont reward arena loot. Can you comprehend whats being said?

That is correct. As long as mythic pve players do not do m+5 type of content to show their high skills, similarly arena players should not be using their top gear to show their skills to the casuals how powerful they are (when the latter do the low-tier type of content).
So we cant use the gear we earned in rated pvp for battlegrounds? Is this what ur saying or do I understand you wrong
Why you exclude all of us that want to enjoy unrated bgs to all to its potential and not just be destroyed in 10 secs because some exposed the broken arena system.
P.S Arena is a broken system for years. No tanks can play, they have to do dps, no arcane mage and many more other classes can not compete there as few . Still I stand for your right! Yes get your amazing gear for arena, you can have it , you deserve it. But do not think just because we do not like this content we should be punished from enjoying the content we like.
P.S 2 I did at 8.2 arena. Reached 2.4 rating and then I stopped. God how much I hate these games. Just let me enjoy my unrated bgs every single day of my life. You can have the best gear of the world. I just do not want to be dead in 2 secs, without the right to fight.
P.S 3 At the end of the day all of us in this post we agree on the same thing. People should get the best gear for the content they like.

If all you do is random bgs, youll never get better. Do arena and earn better gear than you get in bgs. There is a solution to your problem.
But lets just agree to disagree with each other. We have different perspectives on this and we probably never agree with each other
People say they like doing random bgsā¦for 3 reasons.
1.soloā¦
2.because of the aboveā¦they can play whenever they like,because they like itā¦without the NEED to bring more people.
3. They may not like arena.
Alsoā¦people getting stupid/arrogant/stubborn because they canāt understand 2 things.
- Pvp and pve are different things, need the person to have different skillsā¦you canāt compareā¦apples and oranges.
- Arena and bg are different games altogetherā¦you need different things to be good as a player, different coordination ,way different STRATEGY. And even in arenaā¦ there are good players ā¦but there is ALWAYS the combo.
Please explain me ā¦what does skill in arena has to do with getting 2 shot in a random bgā¦because the guy that does m+ outgears youā¦in pvpā¦and the gear you get in pvpā¦even random bgsā¦is far worse than gear you getā¦in pveā¦?
No one said why rated gear and if is better than non ratedā¦the question is why pve gear shoyld be equal or better than any pvp gear for pvpā¦while the same pvp gear isnāt and wonāt ever be as good for pveā¦

Pve gear isnt better. Pvp gear prevails because versa. Rated pvp gear should always be better than random bg gear

Well, itās not that we had balanced 1st seasons in any expansion one way or the otherā¦itās not something newā¦and i play this game 15 yearsā¦
However, since damage reduction is in the gameā¦they should buff pvp gear in general with a bonusā¦damage reduction ( not versa) while in pvp environment ( any of it).
Doesnāt matter the item level ,if itās bigger or lowerā¦it can be a factor ā¦ A stable factor to make pvp gear at least desirable for pvpā¦ without getting good for pve ā¦and actually obtain some balance between the 2.
Youāre the fool thatās complaining. Like I said donāt expect such high level gear for random BGs. The easiest form of PvP and you want up to 220? Get out of here you literally are a joke.
This isnāt about gear or equality. Casual players donāt expect or want the best gear or even parity. But they do want to have a fighting chance. And I would think any pvpāer would want a challenge at least. This was offered in every expansion, except BFA. Jury is still out on SL.

What makes it easy?
Currently, endgame status for casuals looks like itās going to be Level: Fodder. Not due to lack of hrs or effort, we have to grind our way there.
It feels like rated Arena players have had this banquet with all the trimmings laid before them in SL & casuals have been served a dollop of gruel.
I hope you have a premade to play Randoms with, or you may find your own bg team full of fodder.

First of all, before the usual āa mmorpg is a mmorpg you have to play with othersā. No!! Where ppl read this? Massive Multiplayer Online Role Play Gameā¦ literally means a role play game with a lot of other pplā¦ if it was a game where 100000 ppl would kill each other in a death match without cooperation, it would still be a mmorpg.
Cooperative is a term that can be comprhended but itās not a āgivenā inside the word mmorpg.
So, considering that blizzard never called wow a āGuild based cooperative MMORPGā, it is not so strange for ppl to think they could enjoy the āsoloā aspects of the game to the fullest without cooperative gameplay, is it?
We old players knows this is a commercial thing blizzard would never do, but this doesnāt mean ppl has some reason to know it, most of all new playersā¦

This is an rpg with a similar āmobaā content, random BGsā¦ they will never be able to satisfy all.
- If they scale gear when you enter PVP āaaaahhhh!!! my grinding days gone waste!!!ā ābut you donāt want fairness!!!ā āfā¦ oā¦ fairness, i grinded for my advantage, this is an RPG gameā
- if they donāt scale gear āaaaahhhhhh!!! non casual pwned me so hard with no possibility!!!ā ābut this is and RPG, why donāt you grind you gearā¦ā āfā¦ oā¦ grinding, i want my share of fun in casual PVP !!!ā
Also, the solution is even more difficult since the gear is behind things to do that require many ppl togetherā¦ while nowdays many join WOW , differently from the past, even alone or with 1 - 2 friends to tryā¦
They tried some kind of āhalf wayā gearing ppl through PVP, even casual, but they have 2 problem doing that:
- Ppl who only want to gear for PVP wonāt do PVE content, and wow is not a game with so many ppl nowdays (of maybe this firsts 1/2 months after lunchā¦ but thenā¦)ā¦ queues risk to go high, guilds risk to not have ppl
- Ppl who want to do rated PVP content (most of all Rbgs, that required quite an amount of ppl for short queues) wonāt find many othersā¦ so, very long queues like BFA.
Now it seems they took a position finally, ppl have to do ORGANIZED content to go upā¦ or became cannon fodder!
Maybe they could have made possible to obtain BIS gear even from unrated, but they didnāt probably to not give ppl who do organized content to also have that (and be TOO fast in gearing).
Live with it: blizzard is a chinese company now, they donāt like ālone wolfesā in mmorpgā¦ you have to be organized with others. It is going on like this from legion through BFA and it wonāt stop.
Probably, if too many will unsub, they will try to ācheatā a little, but the system itself wonāt change. Chinese are quite stubborn.
How much is the !extra! dmg Reduction u get from versatility 5 or 10 percent
For some reason, people ā not meaning you, talking in general ā only bring up this āitās RPGā bit when it comes to random BGs. In an arena, if you are 2400, can you go fight 1200? Come on, itās RPG, I put in the effort and want to be overpowered, right? No, you cannot do that. The system wonāt match you, youāll have to take a hit in your ratings first. But for random BGs this seems to be alright.
There is a place to show your advantage in gear already - itās called the world. You get high ilvl gear, you get more powerful. In the world. Who was pretending to care about WoW being an RPG so much just moments ago? The world is the most significant component of any RPG. Thatās why you are getting your gear. Not enough for you? Well, āitās an RPGā, the world is the most important piece. Go play a different game if you disagree. Whenever we are talking about specific subsystems like raids or BGs, plain transfer of power stops working and gets brakes on it. Why on earth should random BGs behave like the outer world? Just because arena guys want to be overpowered there??? Really?
Random BGs were providing gear enough to do random BGs in WotLK / Cata / MoP / WoD / Legion / even BFA although it was bordering. In SL, they no longer do. This has to be fixed. End of story.
I donāt think they took a position. I am reasonably sure they will fix all this. It seems they were just heavy-handed, were in a rush to improve rated PVP, didnāt see that they managed to screw up unrated PVP, etc. Weāll see.
But just in case - if they donāt unscrew it, well, their loss. I will stop doing PVP, same as many others. A big fraction of people for whom random BGs were basically the game will quit. There are many other games. We are far past the point where Blizzard could say to people āgo do X if you want to do Yā and they would obey. Nah.

I donāt know if they ever fix it, not really expecting it anymore.
I belive that people like me (who pay and play this game for 10 years just like it was fantasy Battlefield with spells instead of bullets) - not caring about any other content in game other than random BGs are extreme minority and Blizz have absolutly zero care. The only thing they do is forcing more and more things to do on you. Your path within this fantasy world(and everything what you want to do VS what you have to do) is more and more scripted by developers and game itself instead of player choiceā¦
Problem is there is absolutely no alternative to WoW PvP. I donāt like super competitive games like MOBAs and the only other MMO ever I like PvP in is GW2, which has perfect PvP system - but not so good, polished, ejoyable and unique moment by moment gameplay like WoW has so I always come back.
