If you mean “good gear for arenas” then no, I don’t expect it from random BGs. I just want gear from random BGs to be good for random BGs. Currently, we don’t have that. Do you get it now?
Pet PVP is PVP, mate. Sorry to burst your bubble. Yes, locking gear for arenas behind pet PVP is silly. Because that’s different types of content. Exactly the same for unrated vs rated PVP, they are different types of content and saying unrated PVP people to “just do rated” is silly.

Main reward for those pushing high ratings should be feeling from rating itself, faster gear, mounts, pets, titles, transmogs and other prestige stuff, not VIP ticket on slaghtering people who farm BGs 6h per day like pigs in westfal just because they dont like ranked…

You are wrong. Gear from random BGs caps at 197. Gear from other sources caps at 226 (actually, higher, but fine). That’s 29 ilvl difference, gear in BGs isn’t competitive. I literally need to be much closer to 226 than 29 ilvls. Now what?
You can complain all you want but if youre not willing to put effort into this game by getting some gear outside random bgs, you truely deserve to get stomped on

No, I mean the next time they screw up your arenas, do PVE. It’s fine to do content X to get gear for content Y according to you. So don’t cry next time when you will have to do that.

because while arena and rated bgs takes communication, random bgs are chill. Turn on a nice song and just do your thing, solo.

You got very good answers so far. I did arenas at 8.2 I reached 2.4 rating but I do not like arenas. Why I should do arenas to enjoy unrated Bgs?
Btw arena that people tell us to go get gear from arena that is broken for years. Just to remind few keywords as RMP or jungle, where people hide their lack of skills at specific setups and combos.
Players that put effort into their char by doing multiple things like high rated arena, high rated battlegrounds, deserve a huuuugee benefit over players that barely play 2 hours per week only doing random battle ground
