Anyone know of an addon that will let me block an entire server? I’d name which one, but I might upset them all and get a ban.
Context for those still chuckling.
Group 1:
I randomly queue on my Cataclysm DK. Pop into Throne of Tides and after the first couple of groups, I get told to switch presence because I’m the tank and should be in Blood. Now I wasn’t the tank, I didn’t queue as the tank, I didn’t even have a tank suitable weapon (I do now for friendly groups where a tank bails).
“You’re the only one who can tank”, ignoring the Druid who’s only comment is “You don’t want to see me tank”.
I refuse to tank, I get kicked with the inevitable 30 minute debuff.
I whisper asking what the hell that was about and get a long winded excuse about how the group leader didn’t bother checking roles and oh sorry you were right, it was the Druid who queued as a tank.
Group 2:
Random queue again, Paladin tank, thinking this should be OK. I ran this dungeon with a Paladin earlier in the day and we didn’t crash and burn.
Nope. Tank’s head was so far up somewhere, we all died twice on trash.
Group 3:
Paladin tank again. Didn’t start too well on the first couple of trash mobs. Get to the last group of trash before the boss. Tank stops, just sitting there on his charger doing nothing. People start asking if he’s there, disconnects.
Next second I’m kicked from the group with the 30 minute debuff (15 as I type this). I whisper again asking what the hell that was.
“Oh, it was the rogue”, I whisper the Rogue, “You were AFK, tank”. Paladin tank, not DK tank. I not too politely point out and comment on what happened as being a “D” move.
All three instances had more than one player from the exact same bloody server. I’m starting to wonder if all the challenged players go there or if players go there and experience a massive IQ stat squish.
So, I ask again of anyone who made it through that. Any addons that will let me ignore/block an entire bloody server of numpties?
