Celebrate Two Years of the Trading Post Under the Lunar Light of February

The rewards looks StarWars-y to me.
The mount is a regular speeder bike and the pet is ewok.

That would sell both to me

Im surprised there wasnt a more hyped up item/mount though considering the 2 year ani.

Thanks for extra tenders though. Thats great

I need tendies badly!

The last couple of months have been pretty packed with good stuff to spend them on.

We are always surprised when Sinny finds something she wants to buy. She’s a tendies hoarder

Alright alright, you had me at Star Wars.

Sinny’s going to hit the jackpot next time the trading post is packed like it was in December! I wish I could hoard mine but I’m too trigger-happy when I see something I like (mounts, usually).

The silvermoon broom might be a nice addition to my mage. Just need to make my voidy elfs transmog more…bloodelfy.

Please tell me the mace makes a crackle noise when you hit stuff, pretty please blizzard

Yes, that’d be awesome! I do love the model (and yes, very Star Wars-y!) but the belf aesthetic will be odd on the characters I play.

Ooooh, I like that set. Well, except the helm, but yeah!

Who needs Pandaren heritage sets when we can have that.

I appreciate they try to add different Themes each month. But overall, the aesthetics of these themes tend to lack variation.

The art work seems to be designed towards a certain aesthetic that might appeal to a certain demographic, and not for the player base as a whole. That’s a shame because we all look forward to what’s to come each month/patch.

There rarely seems to be anything these days that can appeal to a more open audience.

If you look at what was leaked for March on the PTR, that will be another month that I won’t be spending any Tender, because it fits what I consider to be an undesirable theme. Like the Dress from the month reward this month, I likely won’t be wearing the Butterfly wings in Marches rewards. I know I’m at a point where I have really bought any for 3 months, heading on to 4.

When there are people not interacting with the trading post, that’s a failure of the system.

I don’t know, I feel there is a mix. There are often things I just straight up don’t like. Which is just as well because my spending is limited. However, there are definitely things that are just the same item over and over in a different colour. Not that I see anything wrong with that either.

I try not to look at the datamining too much. I find everything is spoilt in advance these days.

The last time I looked at the Trading post and thought “I need this” was when the Void Fish Mount was on there last year.

Yes there are a few low cost items that I might pick up here and there. Hunter Bows/Guns are usually good.

But look at Januarys Trading post. There are 2 gnomish engineering themed Transmogs sets, with a selection of Weapons. No Staffs, No Daggers, No offhands. So that’s me out, I don’t have any Gnomes, I play Casters, and my current off class is Assassination Rogue.

I’m not a mount or pet collector, so I’m not ever going use a bright orange peacock. Although I appreciate that it’s a very pretty mount. It’s not really for me.

The Wastewalker Transmogs is pretty cool. But is far too expensive, 200 Tenders more than the 2 other transmogs.

I will give Blizzard Props though. they have actually reduced the price of new items going on the TP though.

But as I said before. Every time someone looks at the Trading Post and walks away with nothing, that is a failure of the purpose of the Trading Post. At the moment, a long time player feels left out each and every month that goes by.

Its so sad when good things like this happen and ur capped on currency and can barely buy like 3-4 items

I actually like the transmog set the TP offers, it reminds me of dynasty warriors characters, just give it a matching pandaran fan (the ones on a stick) and you’ve got a dynasty warriors mog.

Now give me a helmet with plumes like Lu Bu.

Its heartbreaking tbh and Im not refering to any specific month particularly but in general :dracthyr_cry:

I think that would be nigh impossible though. No matter what they make, someone’s bound to not like it.

I like their overal ideas in general, but often the execution is lacking imo.

Like what?
As I said: No matter what they make, someone’s not going to like it.

If you haven’t liked anything in the last 3 months (that includes the month where we got a second chance to get those class sets, for instance), then I dunno man. You might have too specific wishes.

So it’s best that they continue to keep making cute and fluffy in a game which was born of Scourge, Demons, Dragons and Darkness?

I’m not opposed to cute and fluffy being around, but give us some of the other stuff for a change.

They have done that. Loads of times.
January wasn’t a ‘cute and fluffy’ month either, for instance.

Here’s a list of the TP stuff, all the way back to 2023. Notice how many things are not ‘cute and fluffy’.

I also disagree with this notion.
It’s fine if those were some aspects that appealed to you, but Warcraft has always been way more diverse than just those things. It always had loads of humour and silly stuff too, for instance. And those were the kinds of things that appealed to me. Doesn’t mean that that is all WoW is.
