Rankin itself should be removed , i dont know who came up with Classic ranking system , but is flawed and broken , increasing the speed you get rank points wont fix the flaws with in it
Best way is to replace the system to the honor points you can spend like in TBC

To buy the weapons and mounts youd be required to get full field marshal epic set which will give you “Grand Marshal” set buff that will make you able to purchase weapons and mounts
Here is prices that equal close to the amount youd need to put to get rank 14
Two hand weapons 1.3 mil honor points
One hand weapons 650k honor
Chest/Shoulders/Head 600k honor
Boots/Gloves/Legs 450k honor
the whole amount 4.4 mil honor
Biggest honor cap someone grinned in SoM so far was 1.3 mil for one week and that was
close to 16 hours per day farm
so getting full set will require 3.5 weeks of 16 hours of farming every day for that time

this is just simple try on it , you can play around with prices and maybe even add gold to the honor price
Because it’s a very old game, a lot of the systems on classic are flawed. Some of them people love, others not so much. Probably a better way is to grab the system from TBC or Wrath, but ultimately it’s very unlikely even future seasonal releases will contain such large changes.
In the end, yeah it probablly doesnt matter much , but now…who do u think those people that play pvp for 16 hours a day are?
Even if their skills arent optimal for what ever reason, cant say they are not hardcore wow players!
I dont like RBG cause u have to group up with others! Love this system!! Can do stuff solo!! Thats amazing in a mmo!! and just buy the gear? cmon even if blizzard did that, 100 people on the forum would ask for a cost reduction, like that didnt just happen in tbc…

BECAUSE then youd understand by adding TBC system . not only youd able to get everything solo , youd able to decide the amount hours you put every day
You can and always have been able to solo grind rank 14 if you put in the effort. The ranking system is just who is the biggest no life, has friends playing their account or who bots the most. Quite funny if you actually believe half the people who got rank 14 played 100% of the hours themselves and you’ve clearly been out PvP discords if you believe people didn’t solo grind r14.
Dunno where you get your info from, guessing inventing cuz ur jealous… but atm on dreadnaught ( most competitive server to rank on) horde, ik dozens of people in br1/2 and so far have not heard or seen a single instance of botting /account sharing /etc… nor do people need to with current caps. Last week br1 was 1.6 millions, and top premades were making 25k+/h which means 64 hours of pvp to cap, which is quite ez to do in a 168 hour week… edit, 25k rate was during wsg weekend, still quite ez to do.
We have a big problem on bonescythe with acc sharers we can’t do a premade to protect us of them becouse low pop… no gold,no people, no enchants or consumes, they are 3 Russian 2 are now on one account they attempt to multibox one of the accounts to keep it too 24/7 playing , and blizzard act but only ban for one week one of them , blizzard can’t do nothing against account sharers they play more than other played, is not good for anyone.
