Character boost and blizzard support being disrespectful

So, a friend of mine gifted me a character boost ( Sesame in french ). I accepted it. It was the 9th of october. I still can’t use it. That’s my conversation with the obvious bot. You can’t add screenshots so i’m gonna copy and paste the answer from the bot. I want you to acknowledge that i submitted a screenshot of my character selection menu with the xp boost icon missing and another screenshot of my gift history.

I feel like this is not ok. Do i need to escalate this ? I don’t want to. I just want what someone paid for and i feel like wow is expensive enough so i can expect a human to talk to me when i have an issue with a produce THAT expensive.

Checking the message you received from the GM over, it doesn’t seem at all that it is an (“obvious”) bot, nor does it has anything that would merit it being disrespectful.

What I do see here is a slightly modified template on character boost issues.

You did recieve a human answer, with a (slight modified) template.

As for your issue, the token should appear on the top right of your character list as a small coin. If you’ve been gifted the right character boost that is, since there are differing versions.

So double check you’re logging into the right game version too and/or try a password reset.

Edit: Should you have feedback about GM interactions after the ticket closes you may also fill in the survey there as that is the appropriate place to do so.

Please mind that accusations like “disrespectful” behaviour must be factually accurate and not just an opinion or they will discard any such feedback. Thanks!
