Hey guys,
I have seen lot of discussion related to Classic+, So I decided to ask what is your opinion on this idea?
Many players worry that account-wide transmog would diminish the sense of character progression and identity that makes Classic special and I totally agree that is the butter of Classic. But I was thinking that if Blizzard implemented Character bound transmog system in to the game, it would be more welcoming to the game, at least in my opinion.
By Character bound I mean that every piece of gear you receive gets sent to your character transmog system and only then you can wear it. But it would not make it account bound, only for the character that you have received it for. I thought of this when many people said they do not want to see low level players running around it with raid gear etc. and in my opinion this would fix the issue. I love MMOs that have decisive customization and that I do not look like I am straight out of the circus, I want to wear matching gear and so on.
I am writing this because I was actually wondering what are your thoughts on this? Would it be a good idea or trash, let me know!

I’d love character bound Transmogs.

I’m fine with account-bound features, as long as they would provide an option at character creation to completely exclude this particular character from account-wide features.
Right now I feel forced to create new accounts whenever I want to start my journey anew in Retail. That’s not a huge deal, outside of extra payments, but I don’t want that in Classic.

I have been a purist but I’ve turned.
As I’m getting older I appreciate to have things I have achieved. Same in games.
What’s the point of having a plethora of pets, mounts, toys and appearances, if I cannot actually use them?
From this perspective, Remix and Trading Post are completely pointless, practically non-existent features.
I have no desire to flex my PvE or PvP gear, or Winterspring Frostsaber the umpteenth time, especially since at this point it’s a negative flex (proves unemployment and bad priorities or botting).
To spin it positively, allowing people to use mogs in Classic editions would allow us to enjoy and showcase stuff that we have achieved over the years.
I also think that some items (mostly mounts) are way out of place, mostly due to size, but that’s where it ends for me.
I’m aware that I went to level 2, account-wide, cross-edition transmog. For me, level 1 (within edition/run) is irrelevant. Sure, I can achieve a more coherent look by some color coordination, but that’s it.
