Character Clone service We hope to open this service for those who have been playing since classic issuance. I own a character and forgot to buy this service when tbc was released.

You people without foresight chose the falsely so called “expansions” over Classic.

Naturally, we had to foresee that expansions would be a total flop and classics would be needed by everyone.
Fools, what have we done. Well, now nothing remains for us but to crawl on our knees and beg for this precious character cloning service. The chance is missed, the lesson is learned - with our limited foresight we are clearly unfit to make such important decisions!

Yes, the expansions literally came out in the past. You should have known this. Only Classic should even be called World of Warcraft. TBC and Wrath and anything after are not the same game.
You damaged even Classic when you asked for the expansions to repeat in the polls. Now we are stuck with the Chronoboon.
No, you wont get your characters from TBC or Wrath cloned, period. Whats left for you is to start leveling.
You people most definitely are unfit to make these decisions.
Just logging in once during the whole of TBC would have meant you didn’t need a cloning service.

Times were changing, and with them the requirements of the audience. The game had to adapt to the new reality.
The ability to clone characters would be a tribute to the loyalty of players, not infringement of some principles.
Instead of waiting for something that will never happen, start leveling. It doesn’t matter how long it’s going to take, Classic Era will still be around once you are done.

Yes we are stupid af. I didn’t clone my full bis ret/ holy paladin when I had the chance BUT in my defence we were told we would be able to do it at any time due to the “snap shot” meaning we could clone it months later.
I, along with many others, missed the announcement that character cloning was ending in July 2022.
One of the biggest regrets of my life.
Blizzard, if there is any way to bring back character cloning please do it (if you like money)

You had the whole of TBC to choose where you wanted the character, you didn’t even need to clone.
Yeah my point is that I missed it as in I can’t do it now. What’s your point?

I think the data is gone, removed when they moved the characters to Mograine.
It makes the most sense.

Well, if it’s not offered or advertised, it means it’s not available.
Coming here to berate others for their interest in the return of services like the Character Clone is bizarre. If it wasn’t for people asking for Classic we wouldn’t even be here.
Personally I find it ridiculous that the “data is gone”. I returned to WoW in 2018 and had support resurrect my original account that I hadn’t used since 2007 completely intact except for character names of course. You’re telling me they didn’t have space? Please.
For those that claim not purchasing cloning as being short sighted, I put it to you that Blizzard retiring this service so early, what with Era absolutely popping off now to be the biggest miss here.

The data isn’t gone, it’s been moved to/merged with Wrath Mograine so it’s not available for the cloning. Once on the Wrath realm is makes 100% sense that it can’t be moved back.
“So Early”? People had almost 18 MONTHS or the whole of Classic TBC to use this service or choose Era or TBC.
You aren’t just clutching at straws but the whole haystack.

What’s the harm if it’s brought back into the shopping list for people who own characters since the beginning of the classic It is neither fair nor logical to deprive players who have characters
